Fall brings the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) annual trade show. October 13 to 15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, SGIA promises to be an event full of exhibitors, educational sessions, competitions, and networking opportunities. 3A Composites USA, booth 637, announces Omni-Flute, a fluted polypropylene sheet designed for creating cost-effective short-term signage and point of purchase (POP) displays. It features a smooth, treated surface available in Bright White, Black, and Natural. Flutes are designed to run either vertical or horizontal. Bright White Omni-Flute standard sizes include 48x96-inch sheets in three millimeter thickness. In four millimeters, Bright White Omni-Flute is available in 24x36-, 36x24-, 48x96-, 96x48-, 48x120-, 60x96-, and 60x120-inch sheets. INFO# 206

Advanced Greig Laminators, Inc. (AGL), booth 2435, expands its material offerings to include an environmentally friendly line to replace polyester overlaminates. Agfa Graphics, booth 2479, displays its diverse portfolio of solutions including the new :Anapurna M 2050, a six-color plus white ink UV inkjet system with eight printheads, 1,440 dpi, and optimized output at 247 square feet per hour (sf/h). The new Jeti 1224 HDC FTR produces up to 1,182 sf/h with inline white and optional flat-to-roll. Plus, Agfa’s :Jeti 3324 Aquajet is on display. It prints up to 10.5 feet wide at more than 400 sf/h. Aurora Specialty Textiles Group, Inc., booth 856, shows six new fabric styles. Adding to the Weaves of Green line of recycled polyester fabrics is Encore FR. It is constructed of spun yarns with a rugged texture and durability of polyester. Designed for Roland printers using Epson DX4 printhead technology, EDX is color and chemically compatible with OEM eco inks.
