KAPCO Introduces New Racy Color Media for Memjet Printheads
Kent Adhesive Products Co. (KAPCO) introduces a new line of digital media--Racy Color Media. KAPCO has developed Racy Color Media with a
proprietary topcoating chemistry for inkjet dye based inks, specifically the Memjet® waterfall printheads.
The Racy Color Media fast & furious products to be utilized with Memjet® desktop label printers provide a cost-effective solution for low-to-mid volume
prints for high speeds of 6 to 12 ips.
The fast & furious products not only print fast but also dry fast and deliver waterfast durability offering a moisture resistance of 60 days on various
substrates—film (BOPP, vinyl), non-woven (Tyvek®) and textured paper. KAPCO’s fast & furious products include waterfast IJ Matte BOPP Film, IJ
Matte Vinyl Film and IJ Gloss Paper. IJ Matte Paper without waterfast coating also available.
Combined with the speed of Memjet technology and print attributes of Racy Color Media application possibilities are endless—water, wine or chemical
bottle labels, meat, cosmetic or novelty packaging, drum labels to decals, bumper stickers and more.

Kapco Adds New Water-Based Inkjet Media and PSA Laminates
KAPCO Graphic Products is introducing new products--with great features and benefits for printers and their customers--instant drying gloss
polypropylene with and without pressure-sensitive adhesive and fast drying matte paper for water-based inkjet printers plus flexible gloss and
luster cast vinyl laminates and a graffiti resistant laminate.
The 8 mil Microporous Gloss Polypropylene Film is a bright white, water resistant, recyclable water-based inkjet print media with a microporous coating for
instant drying. The film is also available in an adhesive backed version. Both products are available in 36”, 42”, 50” and 60” by 100’.
Our 140 gram High Resolution Matter Paper offers high density and vivid colors, fast drying, universal compatibility and exceptional hot and cold
laminate receptivity. Available in roll sizes 24”, 36”, 42”, 50” and 60” by 100’.
New 1.2 mil Cast Vinyl Laminate in Matte, Luster or Gloss finish with a UV protection additive is designed for vehicle wraps and graphics. The
thickness optimizes flexibility and conformability. These come in 30”, 54” or 60” rolls by 150’.
Designed to provide graffiti resistance to graphics the Adhesive Backed 1 mil PVDF Graffiti Free Laminate offers you a laminate solution that spray paint
can be cleaned off within seven days using isopropyl alcohol. Great for vehicle wrap, outdoor graphic, wall graphic and fleet graphic applications.
Results acquired from testing against ASTM D6578-08. This laminate is offered in 54” by 150’ rolls.
KAPCO Graphic Products Releases 3 New Solvent Media
KAPCO Graphic Products releases three new media for solvent printers including PSA 3.75 mil Satin White Vinyl with High Tack Permanent Adhesive,
13 oz. Blockout 2-Sided Scrim Banner and 8 oz. Mesh Banner with PVC Liner.
The Satin White Vinyl is suitable for indoor and outdoor signage printed with OEM and Mild Solvent Inks. Its aggressive permanent adhesive is designed for
bonding to hard-to-stick, low energy, plastic and textured surfaces in cold temperature environments. Available in a 54-inch roll by 150 feet.
The new Scrim Banner offers blockout technology, high image quality print resolution with OEM Solvent Inks and is printable on both sides. Sew and
grommet; fire resistant coating passes the NFPA 701 Test 2 fire resistant certification test. Available in 38-inch, 54-inch and 62-inch widths wound in 150
feet rolls.
KAPCO’s 8 oz. Mesh Banner is a great media for display graphics, backdrops, outdoor advertising and banner applications allowing for close distance
viewing with a 15% open area. Compatible with OEM and Mild Solvent Inks. The Mesh Banner also passes the NFPA 701 fire resistant certification test.
Available in a 54-inch roll by 150 feet.
New Colors Added to KAPCO K6000 Gloss Calendered 5 Year Vinyls
KAPCO Graphic Products introduces two new colors-Pink and Lime Green-into our extensive line of K6000
Gloss Calendered 5-Year Vinyls. KAPCO manufactures the K6000 vinyls for general purpose interior/exterior

KAPCO Graphic Products announces the addition of two new stencil materials - KAPCO Ultra-Cut II - and KAPCO
Synthetic Stencil Board-Cut--into our extensive line of sign vinyl supplies.
The premium, Ultra-Cut II stencil is a semi-rigid general purpose economical choice that easily conforms to
curved or irregular surfaces. Ultra-Cut II is an 8.5 mil, 0.0085" thick, white clay-coated polyethylene with a
repositionable adhesive on a heavy natural Kraft backing stencil material designed for applications of characters
Ľ" and larger. Stencil and backing can withstand up to 180° F.
Replace oil boards with the Synthetic Stencil Board-Cut (SSB-Cut) 10 mil, 0.010" thick, semi-rigid coated
polyethylene stencil material. Non-adhesive material adhered to natural Kraft backing with a removable
adhesive; designed for applications of characters ˝" and larger. SSB can withstand a 180° F application
temperature.
Application uses for Ultra-Cut II and SSB-Cut Stencil Materials are endless and common for marking or stenciling
throughout a wide range of industries such as transportation, intermodal, military, manufacturing and municipality
in addition to home craft. Each stencil material is reusable, safe, non-toxic and recyclable; they resist inks,
paints and stains plus have a coating that protects against runs and smears common with plastic stencils.
