HEXIS USA will be exhibiting at this year’s ISA International Sign Expo in Las Vegas to demo the latest additions to the HX20000 and HX30000
series of high performance cast vinyls.
The main feature at the show will be new textured HX30000 cast vinyls with exciting surface finishes such as carbon, leather, alligator and
super-matt, all available in different colors.
At ISA HEXIS USA will run special events to present new vehicle wrap films.
The Cast Series are multi-layered vinyl films carrying a solvent-based adhesive and a structured PE liner with HEX’Press that allows convenient air
egress during application. Because of its extreme flexibility and high conformability, fast and risk free transfers are practically guaranteed.
The demos will illustrate how the films are handled and applied, and why they are the ideal high-end wrap solution for curved and riveted surfaces.
Also on display will be the overhauled range of Flex films for textile marking (color and digital).
Vehicle wrap demos carried out by HEXIS expert installers will be on daily throughout the show starting daily at 10AM and 2PM on booth #4539.
At this year's FESPA show in Munich, the French vinyl manufacturer Hexis launched an all-new cast Latex
digital printing film and gloss laminate destined for vehicle wrapping applications. Both films are PVC-free and
do not contain any solvents, plasticizers or heavy metals. The compound is flexible and conformable enough to
be suitable for car wraps and in general applications that demand a conformable film.
At FESPA Hexis used a US-made TESLA all-electric sports convertible to demo the new films and emphasize
their environment-friendly qualities.
The latex film – made of an aqueous emulsion of a plastic material – is free of all those materials with certain
environmental issues such as PVC, solvents, plasticizers and heavy metals.
The HXL300WG2 has a thickness of 3.9mil and boasts a printed and laminated vertical outdoor exposure of
3 years. It can be printed with all types of solvent and eco-solvent inks including Mutoh bio inks and HP latex ink.
The HXL300WG2 is for dry application and it carries the proven HEX’Press structured PE-liner to make the film
repositionable during application and ease egress of any trapped air bubbles.
Hexis has launched a new cast vinyl with a carbon fibre look destined for wrapping applications. The company

Part of the HX30000 Series, the “Carbon Cast” is a multi-layered 5mil cast vinyl film with a carbon fiber embossed
pattern. It carries the proven solvent-based adhesive and a structured PE liner with Hex’Press technology that

principally destined for vehicle full wraps and other long-term outdoor applications. It is the ideal high-tech

The new HX30000 Series also includes 2 Variochrome shade shift colors, a pearl white and an iridescent purple,
and a super black matt. They are also multi-layered cast vinyl films carrying the same solvent-based adhesive
and structured PE liner with Hex’Press technology that make the film repositionable during application. Because
of its high flexibility and extreme conformability fast and risk free transfers are practically guaranteed. It is
particularly suitable for vehicle full wraps and for all long-term applications on complex and compound curved
surfaces. With the shade shift feature highly effective color effects can be achieved.
The standard rolls are 54in wide. 63-inch rolls will be available later.
Hexis, the manufacturer of self-adhesive vinyl for signage and digital printing, announces the launch of a new
printable cast vinyl film for wall graphics. The VCSR100WG1 is designed for direct application onto brick,
concrete or plaster walls.
The compound is made of a highly conformable 2mil vinyl and it carries a high tack adhesive to ensure perfect
adhesion on such irregular surfaces.
The VCSR100WG1 can be stuck directly on brick walls and will achieve the most stunning visual effects.
Hence virtually any indoor or outdoor wall can become an attractive advertising space and thus a cost-effective
alternative to banners or framed prints.
The film can be used without laminate, however in order to achieve longer durabilities Hexis recommends the
lamination of the vinyl with one of their cast laminates PC30G2 (gloss finish) or PC30M2 (matt finish). Hexis also
provides a set of dedicated brushes for surface preparation and efficient application.
The product comes in rolls 54 inches wide and 148ft long and is suitable for solvent and eco-solvent inkjet
printers. Hexis supplies specific ICC color profiles for most printer and RIP software combinations to achieve
best printing results.

recommended for long-term outdoor applications and for vehicle full wraps. It features an outdoor durability of
up to 10 years and is thus the ideal high-end solution for corrugated or riveted surfaces and all substrates with
long life cycles.
The colors of the HX20000 are based on those of the successful SUPTAC S5000 series. Thus color matching
the two series on the same project is very easy.
The HX20000 is available in 33 high-gloss colours. The roll size is 98.5ft long and 54in wide.
Also on show will be the enhanced HX100WG2, a 2mil cast vinyl film with a grey structured adhesive
compound that makes the product repositionable during application allowing easy elimination of creases

The PC30M2 is a 1.2 mil matt cast laminate designed for use on cast vinyls - both printed and full color -
destined for applications on complex curved and corrugated surfaces. In response to the current demand on
the vehicle wrap market for matt paint-like finishes this new laminate is going to enable wide-format digital
printers and installers to follow the trend for matt details and accents and thus differentiate and widen finishing
techniques.
The new glare-free laminate offers a smooth, uniform surface and thus opens new creative options beyond
conventional fleet markings with a true matt finish for eye-catching graphics. New finishing possibilities and
easy viewing (and photographing) from any angle - outdoors and under artificial lighting conditions. Installers
will benefit from its excellent performance, superior conformability, convenient application and improved
productivity. The thin 1.2 mil laminate will make installation of digital prints and full color vinyl both on flat and
curved substrates easier and more efficient.
For ease of use and durability the PC30M2 features a sturdy PE-coated release liner combined with the proven
clear acrylic solventbased adhesive with UV-filter ensuring efficient protection against color fade and
environmental aggressions. The PC30M2 has an outdoor durability of 3 to 5 years depending on the substrate
and is available in rolls 54in wide and 55 yds long.
