Avery Dennison Announces 2014 Supreme Wrapping Film "Wrap Like a King" Challenge

Avery Dennison announced today the launch of the second annual “Wrap Like a King” Challenge featuring Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films, a
full spectrum of 78 opaque cast films in a wide range of colors and finishes used for color change vehicle wraps. Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions is
hosting the competition with supporting sponsors, West Coast Customs and Croftgate USA.

“Wrap Like a King” is a competition for professional vehicle wrap installers to show off their skills by creating unique, well-installed car wraps with Avery
Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film between April 1 and September 15. Submissions entered in the Challenge will be considered for the Judge’s Award
and the Fan Favorite Award, which will be announced on October 13.

“The number of wrap projects and the quality of the installations we received in 2013 impressed everyone involved in the Challenge,” said Erin Harmon,
North America segment manager, Graphics Solutions at Avery Dennison. “Since the Challenge ended in 2013, more than 20 new colors and finishes,
including satin, pearlescent and new chrome colors have been added to the Supreme Wrapping Film line, with more to come. We’re excited to see
what the wrap community will do with these new films for the 2014 ‘Wrap Like a King’ Challenge.”

After all submissions are entered by September 15, seven professional judges will choose the top 32 car wraps to move to the next round for a chance to
win the two grand prize packages that include a trip to the 2014 SEMA Show. The Judge’s Choice Award will be chosen by the judge’s panel, while
car enthusiasts and fans of the competition will choose the Fan Favorite Award winner, from the 32 top wraps, through four rounds of public voting
that begins on September 19 at www.wraplikeaking.com.

Voters have a chance to win a grand total of $5,000 in prizes. All voters, from all rounds, will be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize of a $150
Croftgate gift card. Voters will also be chosen randomly in each round of voting to win multiple Croftgate gift cards.

"This is the second year of Avery Dennison’s ‘Wrap Like a King’ Challenge; with new innovative products and up and coming designers, this year is
expected to reach new levels in what’s possible with the Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film,” said Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs. “I am
excited to see this unfold.”

“When I was asked to be a judge for this year’s ‘Wrap Like a King’ Challenge, I was truly floored. I saw the wraps at SEMA last year and was very
impressed,” said Frank DeFeo, national sales director at Croftgate USA. “To be a judge, is an honor. I look forward to working with Avery Dennison,
West Coast Customs and the other judges in choosing the 2014 ‘King of Wraps.’”

Avery Dennison Adds Five Satin Finish Films

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions today announced the addition of five satin-finish colors – black, white, white pearlescent, carmine red and bubblegum
pink – to its popular Supreme Wrapping Film line, a full spectrum of 78 opaque cast films in gloss, matte and brushed metallic, matte, pearlescent, carbon
fiber, conform chrome and satin colors that are primarily used for color change car wraps.

“Avery Dennison's new satin film is exactly what we've been waiting for,” said Ryan Friedlinghaus, founder and CEO of West Coast Customs. “Its smooth
finish creates the appearance of a real satin paint job while maintaining the benefits of Avery Dennison's quality vehicle wrapping films.”

“Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film satin films feature a unique finish that is a medium luster, with both matte and gloss characteristics. We’ve
received excellent feedback on the colors and film performance from car wrap installers,” said Avery Dennison North America Marketing Specialist
Abigail Gibbs. “Black, white and white pearlescent were the only satin film colors on the market – until now. With the introduction of carmine red and
bubblegum pink, Avery Dennison becomes the first and only supplier to offer colorized satin films.”

Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films are constructed with appearance and ease of installation in mind. The films feature Easy Apply RS™
technology which allows the installer to easily reposition and slide the film into place and reduce air bubbles, minimizing the total application time for
the wrap. In addition, due to its construction, no overlaminate is required before installation. Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Films are ideal for
interior and exterior accents for vehicles, point-of-purchase signage and architectural installations.

“The Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film satin white pearlescent is the best film on the market,” said Arthur Hakobyan, Diamond Black Exteriors.
“Avery Dennison’s satin white pearlescent stands out from the competition because it can be installed in any direction and the color was consistent
throughout the roll. It’s beautiful. Our customer loved the wrap on his Maserati!”

A benchmark video and study demonstrated that Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film outperforms competitive wrapping films currently on the
market. Independent applicators completed benchmark tests on perception of product and application performance comparing seven vehicle
wrapping films from major manufacturers worldwide. Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film ranked highest for slideability and conformability, and
achieved the highest score for overall performance. Application times were also measured and Supreme Wrapping Film was rated the fastest to
apply – almost 20 percent faster than other products.

“We installed several wraps with the new Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film satin colors at a very high end car dealership,” said Joe Alexander,
Incognito Wraps. “The dealership owners and customers kept stopping us and commenting on how they loved the finish and the colors. Our
customers were thrilled with the new colors. Avery Dennison hit a home run with these five colors.”

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Adds New Supreme Wrapping Film Installation Classes

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today that it will offer eight Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film installation classes in 2013. Avery
Dennison certified installer Justin Pate will teach the classes, open to students with intermediate to advanced skills. The popular Avery Dennison
Supreme Wrapping Film line offers a full spectrum of 50 cast films in matte, brushed metallic and gloss colors that are primarily used for color change
car wraps.

“The Avery Dennison / Mutoh Car Wrap Training program with our digital film is very successful and workshops sell out quickly,” said Paul Roba,
technical manager for Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “We expect the same to happen with the Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film
installation classes. Justin Pate is in high demand and students will learn how his installation techniques improve the quality of wraps in addition
to becoming more efficient.”

The Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film installation class is a one day intensive workshop with a limit of 15 students per class. Topics covered will
include how to section film economically, how to wrap door handles, mirrors and compound curves as well as the business aspect of how to price and
sell paint wraps.

“Wrapping a vehicle with an opaque film that has one color and finish is more involved and detail oriented than installing a digitally printed wrap,” said
Pate. “An installer needs to have a thorough understanding of how each type of film behaves and a high skill level in order to achieve professional
results.”

manager for Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “Our customers, vehicle wrap shops and installers, have asked for these new colors to meet
consumer demand for paint or color wraps.”

Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Films are constructed with appearance and ease of installation in mind. The films feature Easy Apply RS™
technology which allows the installer to easily reposition and slide the film into place and reduce air bubbles, minimizing the total application time
for the wrap. In addition, with Supreme Wrapping Films, no overlaminate is required before installation.

“Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Films are also ideal for interior and exterior accents for vehicles, point-of-purchase signage and architectural
installations,” added Zanko.

Avery Dennison enhanced its 900 Ultimate Cast Translucent product line, available in 48 colors, with a new 3 mil polyester liner. The new liner will
allow installers to wet apply the films.

The 18-color 800 Premium Cast Translucent product line has been upgraded to a thicker, 83# Kraft liner. All Avery Dennison translucent films will
be available with an improved CAP adhesive, providing permanent adhesion with improved long-term removability.

The improvements to 900 Ultimate Cast Translucent and 800 Premium Cast Translucents make the films easier to weed and install. Customers can
learn more in Booth 4350 at ISA Expo.

Justin Pate will demonstrate vehicle and car wrap installation techniques with Avery Dennison digital and Supreme Wrapping Film products from

a full spectrum of 46 opaque cast films in matte, brushed metallic and gloss colors that are primarily used for color change car wraps.

“The Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film carbon fiber films are, hands down, the best on the market,” said Jim Miller, Miller Decals, LLC. “I put the
films through extreme tests, wrapping a vehicle with many curves, and they passed with ease.”

“Avery Dennison carbon fiber films are thinner and more conformable than other carbon fiber films on the market according to our customer trials,” said

which allows the installer to easily reposition and slide the film into place and reduce air bubbles, minimizing the total application time for the wrap. In
addition, due to its construction, no overlaminate is required before installation.

“The carbon fiber films provide excellent opacity and present our customers with additional design options,” added Zanko. “Avery Dennison Supreme
Wrapping Films are ideal for interior and exterior accents for vehicles, point-of-purchase signage and architectural installations.”

Avery Dennison Showscases New Color Wrap Customizations and Vehicle Protection Films

Avery Dennison announced today that it will highlight 13 new Supreme Wrapping Film matte and brushed metallic colors, digitally printable wrap
materials and paint protection films in booth 12637 at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada from
October 30 – November 2. The films are used by restylers, wrap installers and the graphics community to customize, personalize and protect the
exterior of a vehicle.

The new films are part of the Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio, which are available in 46 colors and used to customize cars and
trucks by changing the exterior color of a vehicle while providing a finish similar to paint.

Avery Dennison will also feature Nano-Fusion™ Technology PPF, a more conformable, longer-lasting paint protection film designed to eliminate
yellowing, cracking, bubbling, and peeling due to UV exposure, that is better than conventional PPF films. Avery Dennison’s patented Nano-
Fusion process infuses protection deep into the urethane film, allowing the film to retain its flexibility, improving conformability and making the film
easier to install.

Installation of Nano-Fusion™ Technology Paint Protection Film and Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Films will be demonstrated on a 2013 Ford
Mustang in booth 12637. Justin Pate, a world renowned vehicle wrapping expert, will demonstrate how to apply a variety of Avery Dennison car
wrap products. Wrap and paint protection film demonstrations will alternate every hour on the hour beginning at 10 a.m.

The 2013 Mustang will debut at SEMA wrapped in a “Track Fighter” theme created by Pictographics with Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film
white pearlescent, grass green, black metallic, and dark yellow films. The wrap was designed as an homage to the P-51 Mustang fighters, part of
the World War II D-day invasion.

“Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Films are the key to easily customizing a car in a new color and can be more cost effective than paint,” said
Todd Hain, marketing program manager, Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions. “We’ve had an overwhelming response to the new matte and brushed
metallic colors and Conform Chrome from expert vehicle wrap installers across the country, we can’t wait to showcase them for the SEMA Show
2012 attendees.”

Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome, a vehicle accent film for gas caps, side-view mirrors, stripes and door handles, was introduced at last year’s SEMA
Show and is extremely popular. In addition to the Supreme Wrapping Film line, Avery Dennison’s MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ is a digitally
printable film well-liked among graphics and car wrap installers because it’s repositionable and slideable, making application easy. Colors pop on
Avery Dennison’s digital films to create dynamic personalized designs.

Avery Dennison educates consumers and small businesses about color change and wrap films and connecting them with car wrap installers
through CarWraps.net, an easy-to-use website that locates local pre-screened and certified installers so a vehicle wrap quote can be requested.

Avery Dennison’s patented Nano-Fusion process infuses protection deep into the urethane film, allowing the film to retain its flexibility. Conventional PPFs
feature a stiff topcoat laminated to a pliable urethane film substrate, making it time consuming and difficult to install, and are more prone to cracking
and yellowing over time. Not only is Avery Dennison PPF more conformable, but it also eliminates yellowing and cracking better than conventional
films. In fact, Avery Dennison is so confident about its paint protection film that it is backing the product with a lifetime warranty, the most
comprehensive in the industry.

finish similar to paint for vehicles and trucks.

Charcoal Matte Metallic
Brushed Bronze
Frosty Blue Matte Metallic
Brushed Black Metallic
Garnet Matte Metallic
Brushed Steel
Green Apple Matte Metallic
Brushed Titaniu
Gunmetal Matte Metallic
Night Blue Matte Metallic
Purple Matte Metallic

“The Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Matte and Brushed Metallic Films color choices and overall appearance are awesome,” said Dallas Fowler of
Digital EFX, based in Louisville, Ky. “The texture of the face films is great and they offer excellent conformability around curves. We really put the
films through the paces and were impressed with how thin yet very durable they are.”

The beauty of a color change or paint wrap is that if an individual gets tired of the wrap or a company rebrands, it can easily be removed and the
paint on the car will look virtually the same as the day it was installed.

“The 13 new Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping matte and brushed metallic films can be used for a full car wrap, as accent films or combined with
the existing 33-color spectrum to create two-tone color schemes,” said Beth Zanko, product manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “We
listened to our customers and have created a line of metallic colors to meet growing demand for full color change car wraps.”

Avery Supreme Wrapping Films are constructed with a cast color layer and a clear layer, so no overlaminate is needed. They feature Easy Apply
RS™ technology which allows the installer to easily reposition and slide the film into place and reduce air bubbles, minimizing the total application
time for the wrap.

Metallic films are durable up to six years. The 40 plus colors in the Supreme Wrapping Film product line can be used for wraps, point-of-purchase
signage and architectural installations. The films are sold in 60 inch roll sizes providing installers the ability to wrap the hood and sides of the vehicle
without seams. In addition, shops can accent their full color change wraps with Avery Dennison’s Conform Chrome Accent Film by applying it to
special features on the car such as side-view mirrors, striping and door handles.

The new Supreme Wrapping Film matte and brushed metallic colors will be used in wrap demonstrations by world renowned graphics installer,
Justin Pate, at the Avery Dennison Booth 12637 at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Expo in late October.

Avery Dennison Introduces New Conform Chrome Accent Film for Vehicle Wrap Market

Avery Dennison’s new Conform Chrome accent film provides a shiny, mirror-like finish for various automotive features providing automotive detailers,
hobbyists and wrap shops with another option to personalize vehicles of all types. Ideal applications for Conform Chrome include gas caps, side-view
mirrors, stripes and door handles. The film is not recommended for full vehicle wraps.

“We tested Conform Chrome at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in 2011,” said Paul Roba, technical services manager at
Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Solutions. “The response from auto restylers, vehicle wrap installers and the aftermarket community was
incredibly positive. We’re proud to bring this innovative new product to the market.”

Decorative accents and details with Conform Chrome can be applied to vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs and Recreational Vehicles (RVs). Conform Chrome is
an affordable alternative to real chrome and a perfect complement to Avery Dennison’s digitally printable MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS films and
opaque Supreme Wrapping Film vehicle wrap products.

“I installed Conform Chrome on the door handles, side molding and hood accents on the Fiat 500s in the Avery Dennison booth at ISA Expo,” said Justin
Pate, a world-renowned vehicle wrap installer and teacher. “It is cool stuff and the Avery Dennison Easy Apply RS technology makes it very easy to
position and install as an accent on any vehicle.”

Conform Chrome comes standard with Easy Apply RS technology, making the film easier to install, because it will slide over surfaces before it is in place
and allows air bubbles to be removed, saving valuable installation time. The film is extremely conformable, allowing for installation on rounded or curved
vehicle components.

The film has a 3-year durability on vertical applications and allows for long-term removability.

Installers are encouraged to determine the suitability of the product for its intended use and for compliance with any local laws and regulations
concerning the use of chrome film on vehicles.

Avery Dennison Launches Retroreflectivity Compliance Kit

Avery Dennison introduced an innovative product today that helps state and municipal government officials verify that their traffic and safety signs
reflect enough light to be in compliance with federal regulations. The new Avery Dennison Minimum Retroreflectivity Compliance Kit is an affordable
and easy way for officials and road sign fabricators to evaluate if an existing sign meets new federally established standards for “retroreflectivity,” the
standard for measuring sign brightness.

The kit contains calibration sign standards and comparison panel standards. When used in conjunction with each other, the components allow a state,
county or city government agency to easily test existing signs for compliance simply by holding the kit’s comparison panel next to a sign. If the sign is as
bright as the panel, the sign is in compliance, if not, it needs to be replaced.

The calibration sign standards come in all required colors with retroreflectivity levels engineered to match the values specified in Manual on Uniform
Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)¹ Table 2A-3. Agency personnel can easily calibrate their vision prior to conducting nighttime sign inspections and
mark signs as pass, fail or marginal.

The visual assessment method using the Kit is simple, effective and fully compliant with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) recommendations for
sign evaluation. In accordance with the 2009 Edition of the MUTCD, state and municipalities have until January 22, 2012 to select and begin employing
an assessment or management method to maintain traffic sign retroreflectivity at or above established minimums. By January 15, 2015, they must
replace regulatory, warning and post-mounted guide signs that fail to meet established minimums. And, by January 22, 2018, overhead guide and
street name signs that fail to meet established minimums must be replaced.

“The Avery Dennison Compliance Kit is accurate, approved and the most cost-effective method for an agency to test their existing signage and
be in compliance,” said Scott Chapman, traffic & safety segment manager, Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Solutions. “We are committed
to working proactively with government agencies to ensure they are compliant with the MUTCD rules.”

The retroreflective values for both the calibration sign standards and comparison panel standards are certified by Avery Dennison.

Avery Dennison Launches Carwraps.net

Avery Dennison announced today the launch of CarWraps.net, an easy-to-use website that makes it convenient for small business owners and
consumers to brand or personalize their car with vinyl graphic media.

“Vehicle and fleet graphics have been used by the business community for promotion and advertising purposes for many years,” said Kathleen Hall,
North American vice president and general manager for Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflectives Solutions. “The success of mobile advertising
campaigns has led many small- and medium-sized businesses to explore the idea of having cut or printed graphics applied to their vehicles or fleet
as an excellent way to gain exposure for their brands. Carwraps.net is designed to make this process straightforward and accessible for the
business owner or the consumer who wants to customize their vehicle with their own style.”

Statistics from the Outdoor Advertising Association of America confirm the effectiveness of vehicle graphics. One vehicle can generate 30,000 to
70,000 impressions a day. In addition, fleet advertising boosts name recognition 15 times more than any other form of advertising. Car wrap
advertising also boasts one of the lowest cost-per-impression ratios among all forms of advertising. These are the types of statistics that have
convinced more and more businesses that car wrap advertising should be a key component of their marketing mix.

In addition to businesses, consumers now desire to reflect their individual styles on their vehicles. This personalization trend goes beyond the typical
pin stripe and window graphics that are purchased off the shelf. Options for customization range from simply changing the color of the car with a
wrap or creating a personal design and digitally printed wrap.

“We are committed to providing businesses and consumers with easy access to qualified wrap installation professionals,” said Hall. CarWraps.net
includes an easily searchable database so that individuals can locate a pre-screened and certified installer near them. Full-service wrap companies
and installers have been certified by Avery Dennison or the Professional Decal Application Alliance (PDAA), an independent, industry-leading
organization dedicated to raising the reliability and professionalism of the graphics installation industry. Avery Dennison and PDAA Master Certified
Installers are experienced with all types of graphic installations, including walls and flat surfaces, glass, curved surfaces, and complex curved
surfaces including vehicle wraps.

A wide selection of photos of custom graphics installed on cars, SUVs, vans, trucks, RVs and trailers are available at CarWraps.net for consumers
and business owners to see. Also helpful for small businesses, are statistics on the number of impressions a promotional wrap can generate and the
ROI for this out-of-home advertising medium.

Avery Dennison’s MPI 1005 Supercast pressure-sensitive vinyl is often digitally printed with designs or company logos for full and partial car wraps.
The vinyl graphics are then laminated with one of Avery Dennison’s digital overlaminates to provide protection against normal road wear and UV
rays.

The beauty of a car wrap is that if an individual gets tired of the wrap or graphic design or a company rebrands, it can easily be removed and the paint
on the car will look virtually the same as the day it was installed. Pricing for creating a personal graphic design and installation varies depending on
the vehicle and the size of the graphic.

Judge Rules in Favor of Avery Dennison in 3M Patent Infringement Lawsuit

Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE:AVY) announced today that Chief Judge Michael J. Davis of the United States District Court in Minnesota has denied
3M’s request for a preliminary injunction in Case 0:10-cv-02630-MJD-FLN that attempted to block Avery Dennison’s OmniCube™ product from competing in
the marketplace for retroreflective sheeting.

The motion for preliminary injunction was part of a patent infringement lawsuit filed by 3M against Avery Dennison last June. In denying 3M's request to
preliminarily enjoin the sale of Omnicube™, Judge Davis stated that Avery Dennison had raised a substantial question of validity with respect to the patents at
issue. In addition, the Court found that, given 3M's failure “to demonstrate a likelihood of success on the merits and that 3M will be irreparably harmed, the
balance of harms and public interest tips in favor of Avery Dennison.”

Avery Dennison is free to continue to sell Avery Dennison OmniCube™, which is retro-reflective sheeting material developed by the company primarily for
highway and street signs to reflect light back to the drivers of all-sized vehicles at virtually any sight angle.

Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge Winning Design Ran on Rusty Wallace Racing’s No. 66 at Homestead

Salute the Soldiers, the first place winner of the Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge, made its debut on Rusty Wallace Racing’s No. 66 car on Saturday,
November 20, at the Nationwide Series season finale in Homestead, Florida. The design was digitally printed on Avery Dennison’s exceptional vehicle wrap
material, MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS.

Salute the Soldiers, designed by Daniel Wayne Logue of Lincoln, Nebraska, is an homage to our soldiers depicting the popular markings used on U.S. military
aircraft in the World War II era. It was chosen as the first place winning design of the Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge by NASCAR Nationwide Series
driver Steve Wallace, the Rusty Wallace Racing team and sponsor 5-Hour Energy. More than 120 entries were submitted to the contest from all over the
United States and Canada.

“It was incredible to see No. 66 wrapped with my design in person and on the track at Homestead,” said Logue, first place winner. “It was an amazing
opportunity to meet Steve and Rusty Wallace and know that my design was seen by millions of people.”

Logue and his guest were on hand in the pit to see Salute the Soldiers in action on the track and meet the Rusty Wallace Racing drivers – Steve Wallace
and Brendan Gaughan. Logue has worked in the sign industry for seventeen years and spends much of his time designing vehicle graphics in his current
position at Express Signs in Lincoln, Nebraska.

“I was proud to race my No. 66 5-Hour Energy Toyota Camry with the Salute the Soldiers design on it on Saturday,” said Steve Wallace. “The designs we
received from the Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge were awesome.” Wallace enters Homestead ranked 9th in the 2010 Official Driver Standings for the
NASCAR Nationwide Series.

“The images and design of Salute the Soldiers really stood out on the track,” said Todd Hain, Marketing Communications Manager at Avery Dennison Graphics
& Reflective Products Division (GRPD). “The Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge received an excellent response and we want to thank everyone who
participated.”

Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division joined forces with the Rusty Wallace Racing team at the beginning of 2010. Avery Graphics
products were used on both Wallace’s No. 66 and Gaughan’s No. 62 during the 2010 season.

The winning designs and all the entries in the contest are available at www.supercastmyride.com.

extreme curves and corrugations. DOL1460 is a 1.3 mil super conformable overlaminate with a gloss finish, ideal for car wraps, fleet and bus graphics, marine
and indoor and outdoor architectural applications.

Manager for the Graphics & Reflective Products Division. “Wraps printed on MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS and protected with DOL 1460 will save
time and money for installers because they are faster and easier to install.”

"One of the first things installers will notice is how much more conformable it is and how easy it is to lay into a deep concave recess, it is such a noticeable
difference,” said Paul Roba, Technical Services Manager.

Features of DOL 1460 overlaminate include:

- No primer is needed for installation

- New permanent adhesive that is a global standard

- Improved release coating

- New easier to handle and improved stability base liner that reduces mottle formation on the face of the film and lacquer picks

Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge Contest Winners Announced

Three designs have crossed the finish line and are in the winner’s circle of the Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge. Salute the Soldiers by Daniel Wayne
Logue was selected as the winning design, chosen by NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Steve Wallace, the Rusty Wallace Racing team and sponsor 5-Hour
Energy. More than 120 entries from across the United States and Canada were submitted to the contest, sponsored by Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective
Products.

Salute the Soldiers will be printed on Avery MPI 1005 Supercast film and installed on the No. 66 5-Hour Energy Toyota Camry for the Nationwide Series season
finale in Homestead, Florida on November 20, 2010. The design is an homage to our soldiers depicting the popular markings used on US military aircraft in the
World War II era. Logue and his guest will be on hand in the pit to see Salute the Soldiers in action on the track and meet the Rusty Wallace Racing drivers –
Steve Wallace and Brendan Gaughan.

“I am so thrilled that the Rusty Wallace Racing team and 5-Hour Energy chose my design as the winner,” said Logue. “It will be incredible to see my design on
the track at a NASCAR Nationwide Series race that will be viewed by millions of people. Thank you Avery Dennison for this opportunity and sponsoring the
contest.” Logue has worked in the sign industry for seventeen years and spends much of his time designing vehicle graphics in his current position at Express
Signs in Lincoln, Nebraska. Logue’s 5 Hour Power design was also selected as the third place winner.

“I am excited to race my No. 66 5-Hour Energy Toyota Camry with the Salute the Soldiers design on it at Homestead,” said Steve Wallace. “The top ten designs
we received were excellent and we had a tough time choosing our favorites.”

“The images and design of Salute the Soldiers will really stand out when they’re printed on Avery MPI 1005 Supercast film, and we’re excited to see the design
come to life on No.66,” said Todd Hain, Marketing Communications Manager at Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division (GRPD). “Thank you
to all the designers who submitted entries in the contest. The designs and contest participation far exceeded our expectations.”

Landshark designed by Shawn Magee was chosen for the second prize which includes a Rusty Wallace Racing autographed helmet signed by Rusty Wallace,
Steve Wallace and Brendan Gaughan, a $500 Visa gift card and 36 bottles of 5-Hour Energy. “The opportunity to bring my creativity to NASCAR and submit
designs for Steve Wallace’s No. 66 5-Hour Energy Toyota Camry was awesome,” said Magee. “It was a lot of fun and I’m truly honored to receive the second
place award. It’s not every day that your design is chosen as runner-up in a national contest.”

Shawn Magee is a freelance designer working in Mebane, NC. Over the last ten years, he has created identity systems, print and web designs for various
clients across many industries. Shawn takes pride in developing creative, unique designs for his corporate clients. You can see his work at

“5-Hour Energy is a proud sponsor of Rusty Wallace Racing and we were excited to participate in the Avery Graphics Design 66 Challenge,” said Carl Sperber,
Creative Director for 5-Hour Energy. “Congratulations to Daniel Wayne Logue and Shawn Magee for making it to the winner’s circle. We had to make some
hard choices but their designs stood out and were outstanding.”

Logue, also the third place winner, will receive a Rusty Wallace Racing autographed die cast car, $250 Visa Gift card and 12 bottles of 5-Hour Energy for his
design, 5 Hour Power. The top ten cars were determined the most popular by visitors voting on the website. Designers could submit more than entry to the

Avery Dennison's Give Back to Schools Initiative Sets Guinness World Record

Today in New York City, Avery Dennison set the Guinness World Record for largest amount of school supplies
donated in a 24-hour period. Avery Dennison donated more than 8,500 pounds of school supplies to an in-need
New York City school, shattering the record requirement of 1,102 lbs, 5 oz.

To establish the record, students from Adolph S Ochs School and Academy lined up at about 9 a.m. this morning
to stuff a full-size school bus with the donated school supplies as part of the celebration. The feat was witnessed
by an official Guinness World Record Adjudicator, who verified that the attempt adhered to the strict guidelines
of the record category and presented Avery Dennison with a certificate documenting the new world record.

"I am so proud of what we accomplished here today: setting a new record that enables us not only to support
a very deserving school, but also to help draw attention to the needs of schools throughout the country," said
Tim Bond, Group Vice President, Avery Dennison Office Products North America. "Avery Dennison is
committed to helping parents and teachers across America provide students with the highest-quality education
possible, and the school supplies are vital to that success."

Guidelines for the record category stipulate that three elements must be present in all Guinness World Record
proposals: an idea that is measurable, breakable and verifiable.

"We are very excited about Avery Dennison Guinness World Records attempt for Largest Amount of School
Supplies Donated in 24 Hours. This is an entirely new record category that was inspired by Avery Dennison's
unique proposal," said Danny Girton, Corporate Adjudications Manager, Guinness World Records. "This record
attempt is a story with a heart, which is what Guinness World Records is all about: ordinary people striving to
achieve extraordinary things."

The record-setting event is a part of the Avery Dennison Give Back to Schools program that was created in
celebration of the company's 75th anniversary as a way to give back to the communities that have made the
company's success possible. The program will provide 10 very deserving U.S. schools with Avery(R) premium
school supplies. To enter to win, students, families and supporters (ages 18 and older) can vote for their local K-
8 school now at www.averydennisongivebacktoschools.com. At the conclusion of the contest on September 5,
the 10 schools with the highest number of votes will each win Avery-brand school supplies valued at approximately
$10,000.

Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division, a leading provider of vinyl and screen print film products

Avery Graphics Partners with GatorWraps, Inc., and Mossy Oak for Soldier’s Homecoming

Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division in partnership with GatorWraps, Inc., and Mossy Oak
will give Staff Sergeant Jacob Karl a homecoming he will never forget. SSgt. Karl was greeted with a custom
vehicle wrap for his 1997 Ford F-250® truck after returning home from his third tour in Iraq.

Avery Graphics donated its popular MPI 1005 EZ RS film and DOL 1100 matte overlaminate for the truck wrap.
The wrap will be custom designed with the new Mossy Oak® Break-Up® pattern, printed and then installed by
GatorWraps at its new location in Ontario, California. MPI 1005 EZ RS is a high-quality cast vinyl film ideal for a
wrap project like the one for SSgt. Karl’s truck. The wrap can be adjusted or removed without damaging the
truck’s original paint.

According to Tammy Karl, SSgt. Karl’s wife, her husband has a weak spot for the Mossy Oak Break-Up pattern.
She contacted GatorWraps to see if it was possible to create the special wrap for her husband in time for his
homecoming. Avery Graphics, GatorWraps and Mossy Oak didn’t hesitate to grant Tammy’s request and get
the project started. “Being part of this project is very exciting. We are giving back to a soldier and his wife for
the sacrifices they have made for our country. Ultimately what we are doing for SSgt. Karl is very little
compared to what he has done for us,” said Joel Ross, Marketing Communication Manager for Avery Dennison
Graphics & Reflective Products Division.

SSgt. Karl has been a U.S. Marine for almost 13 years. He has served as a recruiter and is currently in Iraq with
a unit that trains Iraqi police forces. In his own words, he is doing something very important, being a part of the
solution, helping Iraqis be able to stand on their own feet and live happy and safe lives in their own country.
SSgt. Karl’s wife Tammy said, “I realize that he is not just our hero, fighting for our freedom and our way of life,
but he is their hero too.”

The Avery Graphics wrap featuring the Mossy Oak Break-Up pattern will include a custom design by
GatorWraps with the U.S. Marine Corps emblem and silhouettes of U.S. Marines. A shadow of a bull rider
will symbolize SSgt. Karl’s love for the rodeo. The wrap will be completed free of charge, and the truck will be
waiting for SSgt. Karl when he lands at Camp Pendleton sometime between August and September 2008.

Avery Dennison Customer Featured on Classic Muscle Cars TV Show

Painesville, OH - February 4, 2008 - Road Rage Designs, a leader in vehicle wrap design and installation in the
Chicago area, installed the first-ever complete vehicle wrap on a 1965 Mustang. Classicmusclecars.com TV
crew filmed the wrapping of the vintage Mustang with MPI 1005 EZ RS and DOL 1000, both are part of the
Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Division’s pressure-sensitive vinyl product line for vehicle wraps.

"We were able to design the scales on the wrap to exactly match the interior color of the Mustang. The car
is impressive, especially in person, and the MPI 1005 EZ RS vinyl makes the detail of the design really pop
and the DOL 1000 gives it a glossy, paint-like finish," said Kris Harris of Road Rage Designs located in Spring
Grove, Illinois.

The complicated wrap process was completed by trained vehicle wrap installers at Road Rage Designs and
will be highlighted in two segments on the ClassicMuscleCars.com TV show which premiered February 1, 2 and
3 at 11 p.m. and will be repeated in February. Car enthusiasts will be able to see the two half hour segments
back-to-back on COMCAST digital channel 102. The video will be available for viewing on
www.classicmusclecars.com.

"More and more car enthusiasts are customizing the look of their car with a personalized vehicle wrap. One of
the benefits of a vehicle wrap printed on pressure-sensitive vinyl with Avery Graphics Easy Apply RS technology
is that if you get tired of the design, you can remove the wrap and the paint on the car will look the same as the

Rediscover the Benefits of Fasson® Crack’n Peel® Brand Products

Painesville, OH - December 3, 2007 - Avery Dennison’s Graphics & Reflective Products Division launched a
new marketing initiative to highlight the advantages of the Fasson® Crack’n Peel® brand product line. Crack’n
Peel® brand products run and cut like paper and are used in a variety of applications such as specialty premium,
prototype and short-run labels, kid’s stickers, and backstage concert passes.

Commercial and offset printers and fine paper merchants received a package of labels titled, "Fact of life: Some
labels are better than others" with five sheets of classic tongue-in-cheek social labels like "Go-Getter and
Suck-Up" printed on Crack’n Peel premium pressure sensitive paper.

The mailing showcases the features and advantages of Crack’n Peel® brand products:

- Superior layflat of the sheet reduces the risk of downtime on the press
- Hot melt, rubber-based adhesive that doesn’t ooze when running through the press or when it is die cut/
guillotined
- Proprietary diagonal score pattern on the back of Crack’n Peel is exclusively Avery Dennison’s and provides
up to 25% better yield when printing multiple labels per sheet. The diagonal score allows labels to be nested in
any pattern without risk of die-cutting or guillotining along a vertical score line.
- 1 ¼" spaced diagonal scoring pattern guarantees that every label will have a scoreline. Application time is
quicker because there will always be a score line to assist the user in peeling off the liner.
- No Score / No Back Print configurations are excellent for kiss-cut labels and for applications where you need
to print on the liner.

The product line includes premium white facestocks, premium colors, block-outs that offer 100% opacity and
specialty sheets including a satin cloth.

All Crack’n Peel® brand products come with Avery Dennison’s No Nonsense Guarantee - which allows the
end user to return the product for replacement or credit of the cost of the product if they are not completely
satisfied.

New! Avery Graphics Easy ApplyT Technology Films Now Available

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Avery Graphics has begun sales and distribution of its newly constructed versions of its
popular Easy ApplyT family of digital film products. The new vinyl films, which were on display at the International
Sign Association Trade Show in Orlando the first week in April, began shipping April 24th and are available for
immediate delivery.

The new product has the same smooth, paint-like finish and similar repositionability and performance features
of the Easy ApplyT vinyl Avery Graphics customers have grown to depend. The primary difference is an increase
in initial tack which creates better hold during application to complex curves and deep creases.

Supply of Avery Graphics' Easy ApplyT films was interrupted on March 17, 2006, by an order from a Federal
District Court for the District of Minnesota. The judge's injunction against further sales came in response to an
earlier jury verdict in a patent infringement lawsuit brought by 3M. That patent is now under review by the United
States Patent and Trademark Office, which cited substantial new questions of patentability when agreeing to
reexamine the 3M patent, known as "930 patent."

Avery Dennison is committed to continued investment and expansion of the Easy ApplyT technology family
and to bringing our customers outstanding performance and value-added solutions to their graphic needs.

Avery Graphics Donates Products to Rebuild Businesses

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (January 3, 2006) - Sign shops in the path of Hurricane Katrina are finding there is more
work available than ever, if they can just get their businesses up and running again. Avery Dennison Graphics
Division has been instrumental in helping several shops recover and take advantage of the new opportunities.

Avery Graphics, in conjunction with the MidSouth Sign Association, identified shops that were struggling to
reopen following the devastation and flooding from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The search was complicated
by the lack of power lines, phone service and other basic communication infrastructures. The process led
Avery Graphics to two shops in Louisiana and one in Mississippi who had their hands full getting their facilities
and equipment operational. Avery Graphics took one burden off their plates by re-stocking inventory.

The shops each received a palette of Avery Graphics signage material that included of 31 rolls of assorted
A-Series vinyl, two rolls of Digital Series vinyl, one roll of BannerLine material and application tools. The value
of each palette was approximately $6400.

R.T. Thomas, owner of Air Design Sign and Airbrush Studio in Hattiesburg, MS, said the help could not have
come at a better time. "I got a call from a truck driver asking if I was expecting a delivery. I didn't think I had
anything that would be delivered by semi, but he finally convinced me that he had a delivery, for me, from Avery.
" As the truck unloaded, Thomas was astounded. "This ‘gift’ is one of the best things to ever happen to me. It
will get me back on the road to being able to make a living again. I can't tell you how grateful I am."

"Our customers are our extended family," says Dave Harris, Regional Sales Manager. "When we saw that there

Avery Graphics Releases New Photos from Adventure Highway Vehicle Graphics Installation

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (October 25, 2005) New photos are now available displaying the finished truck and trailer
graphics sported on the touring and promotional vehicles for the hit cable television adventure/sports show,
Adventure Highway with Tom Holm (airing on the Outdoor Life Network). In addition, Avery Graphics now has
photos taken during the installation process. A recent episode of the series featured the installation of the vinyl
wrap displaying the Adventure Highway graphics on the show’s custom truck and trailer. Viewers were able to
see just what it takes to wrap a vehicle.

Holm teamed up with Avery Graphics and APE Wraps to design and install dynamic new graphics for two
custom vehicles, seen every week on his national television series. (See accompanying release dated October
4, 2005) These new photos are available to publications planning coverage of the Adventure Highway
graphics story.

In order to avoid duplication between publications, the photos will be available on a first come first choose
basis. This means publications making a request for photos will be offered selections in the order of their
request. Once those selections are made, they will not be available to other publications to preserve editorial
rights.
