MACtac Introduces New Permacolor Swatch Book
Stow, Ohio - March 6, 2007 - For stand-out images, endless variety and outstanding protection, the
MACtac® Permacolor® line of laminating films has it all. For the convenience of its customers, MACtac Graphic
Products recently showcased the latest in laminates, including the newly unveiled LF3680, with the introduction
of its new Permacolor swatch book.
"We offer films suitable for every laminating need," said Kristi Young, product manager, MACtac Graphic
Products. "They are available for both pressure sensitive or thermal application, and are accessible in a variety
of finishes and sizes."
The swatch book features MACtac’s full line of laminating films, ideal for photographic, ink jet, electrostatic,
lithographic and screen-printed images. Permacolor films provide fast, efficient processing through cold roll
lamination techniques without the need for heat, drying or messy coating operations.
The most recent expansion in finishes featured for the first time in the new swatch book is LF3680, a cast
gloss overlaminating film designed specially for long-term outdoor use on everything from vehicle wraps to
window glass.
"Conformable that is the best word to describe the LF3680 and the other 2.0-mil clear gloss finishes," Young
said. "These films can conform to nearly any shape, while consistently keeping a vibrant appearance."
In addition to the LF3680, the new swatch book also features eight other high performance pressure sensitive
laminates, 10 intermediate pressure sensitive laminates and more than 12 low temperature thermal laminates
with opaque liners.
All Permacolor films have built-in UV inhibitors to extend the life of graphics by protecting from color fade,
caused by ultraviolet light.
