Roland ASD Backs Products with Comprehensive Technical Support Program

Lake Forest, CA. September 6, 2006  Roland Advanced Solutions Division (ASD) today launched a comprehensive 
technical support program for all current and legacy products.

"Roland has always taken pride in offering great technical support," said Gerald Hiller, Roland ASD managing 
director. "This new program gives our customers a formalized level of support they can find nowhere else. When 
you buy a Roland, you know we're going to be there for you."

All Roland ASD customers covered under factory and extended warranties will receive free telephone technical 
support and complementary assistance via the Roland Web site, online user forums and email. Roland authorized 
dealers will provide free support for all current products. Plus, Roland will make every effort to support end-of-life 
products when possible. 

Live Support
From 7:00am to 5:00pm PST on weekdays, Roland product specialists assist customers with all technical support 
issues. Customers can call 888-273-8895 with questions covering everything from machine maintenance to 
technical tips and tricks. After a product's warranty has expired, customers can either purchase an extended 
support contract or telephone technical support for $30 per incident.

Dealer Support

Roland's highly-experienced dealer network is another valuable technical support resource. With years of 
real-world experience using Roland ASD technologies, each dealer is well-prepared to help customers meet 
their unique challenges.

Web-based Support

Roland also offers complimentary technical support on its Web site, which is located at http://www.rolandasd.
com/support. Roland product specialists assist customers by promptly emailing them documents with clear, 
step-by-step instructions. They keep the Web site updated with a full library of FAQs, product manuals, firmware 
updates, and other helpful documents that are customer accessible. Online user forums let customers share 
important product and market information everyday with their peers around the country.

Roland University

Roland product training classes teach customers valuable strategies for starting a successful business. The 
two-day workshops cover tools, materials, machine features, and potential markets. Students also learn how to
