GTCO CalComp ScanPlus 6 Series Scanners
GTCO CalComp has announces its ScanPlus 6 Series wide-format scanners. Newly redesigned, these
environmentally friendly and energy efficient scanners offer customers the highest speeds and quality on the
market.
All GTCO CalComp ScanPlus 6 Series scanners are 100 percent compliant with the European Union’s (EU)
Restrictions of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), which is recognized as the new global environmental standard
for electronics. Effective, July 1, 2006, RoHS regulations govern the amount of Lead, Cadmium, Mercury,
Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers contained within
electronic products in the EU. Similar environmental requirements will take effect in California in January 2007.
The new ScanPlus 6 Series scanners have also earned the Energy Star seal of approval underlying GTCO
CalComp’s commitment to help conserve natural resources and reduce high energy costs.
