Océ Imagistics Introduces a New Series of MFPs Targeting Midsize to
High Volume Environments
Trumbull, CT., July 10, 2006 - Océ Imagistics Inc. (NASDAQ:OCENY) introduced today the Océ Imagistics
im5530/im6030 and the im7230/im8530 series of MFPs. With speeds ranging from 55ppm to 85ppm, the four
modular designs offer highly developed functionalities each in a single, smart and easy to use system. The
im5530/im6030 are ideal for midsize workgroups requiring advanced connectivity, security, scanning, fax and
finishing, enabling increased productivity. Timesaving features like scanning to multiple destinations, booklet-
making, duplexing, and job build are easily accessed through an intuitive touch screen display. The
im7230/im8530 are top performers that can easily withstand the challenges of any production environment.
Targeted for high volume departments and light production areas, the im7230/im8530 can create complex
jobs with custom print settings and finishing attributes found in centralized copy and print centers.

Engineered Workflow
im5530 / im6030
The strength of the im5530 and im6030 is its intelligence and flexibility in making the right connection. With
robust network connectivity, the MFPs can be configured for print, scan and fax, as well as wireless
communications via the Wireless LAN adapter. Enhanced one-touch scanning, with added LDAP v3 support,
allows the user to scan to multiple destinations such as e-mail, an internal HDD, FTP site or to the desktop using
SMB. The im5530 and im6030, with 71opm and 100-sheet RADF support popular file formats such as TIFF, PDF
and JPEG enabling it to function as a central hub for document workflow.

Built with high-volume use in mind, these MFPs can deliver up to 600,000 impressions a month. The 60,100
page toner yield and "toner on the fly" process offers customers increased levels uninterrupted productivity.
Professionally-finished results can be achieved with 100-sheet stapling, 2 and 3 hole punching or tab insertion.
Additionally, the im7230 and im8530 offer sophisticated features such as saddle-stitch booklet creation including
an option to insert pre-printed covers.
Essential Protection
The im5530/im6030 and the im7230/im8530 provide several layers of advanced security. Data encryption,
network authentication, and HDD overwrite safeguard critical data and assure authorized use. The devices
maintain protection for emailed documents using SMTP authentication and LDAP support so that senders of
scanned e-mail documents are known to the recipient. In addition, the MFPs also have the ability to authenticate
up to 10,000 users and up to 1,000 departments through the use of local account codes.
