Avery Graphics Expands Popular A9 Opaque Film Series
PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Avery Dennison Graphics Division North America has recently expanded its popular A9
Opaque High Performance film by adding 24 vibrant colors (now with 126 colors total), including 25 simulations
of PANTONE’s most-specified colors.
Avery Graphics’ A9 Opaque Series is a cast film offering up to 9-years durability. It works well on applications
with rivets, corrugations and compound curves and features a permanent solvent adhesive. It’s an optimum
choice for both indoor and outdoor applications including vehicle, marine, window, POP/tradeshow and
banner graphics.
The extended A9 Opaque film line includes 20 basic colors with Avery Dennison’s Easy Apply technology
featuring air egress channels. This technology allows bubbles and wrinkles to be effortlessly pushed down and
out saving users up to 50% in installation time while providing easy removal after the life of the graphic.
Avery Graphics has also added new Blue Release Liner to all of its white, true white and matte white translucent
and opaque vinyls including A9 Opaque. This blue liner makes white films easier to see and faster to weed
than ever before.
The entire A9 Opaque PANTONE film line can be seen in Avery Graphic’s new Color Selector beginning in
January 2006. The Color Selector is a comprehensive swatchbook with color chips of Avery’s entire cut vinyl
catalog. The Color Selector also includes useful information to help end users choose the best vinyl for their
application needs. To obtain a free copy of this Color Selector or for more information about A9 Opaque film,
