Tri Vantage Provides More Options for the Solair® Comfort Retractable
Awning
Tri Vantage now offers the Solair® Comfort retractable awning with more attractive options for fabricators to
offer to their customers. Designed for outdoor sun control, the Solair Comfort retractable awning includes new
options such as a motor kit, a hood option and an additional frame color choice.
The Solair Comfort retractable awning has become a popular choice for consumers due to its ease-of-use and
affordability. With new additions to this popular awning, professionals can expand their market potential by offering
customers more attractive options, including the new motor kit. Designed exclusively for the Solair Comfort
retractable awning, the new motor kit comes complete with motor, 18 foot power cord, crown, drive, single
channel remote, extra screws and easy-to-follow installation instructions. Fabricators can easily install the motor
by simply extracting the gear and inserting the motor. This procedure does not require any frame cutting and the
motor can be plugged into any standard wall outlet.
End users will find the motor easy to operate with a single channel remote, which gives them complete control
of the awning. One push of the remote will extend or retract the awning to any position, with a maximum
projection of 9 feet 10 inches.
Another attractive option of the Solair Comfort retractable awning is the choice to the add the Somfy® Eolis 3D
WireFreeT wind sensor. This wireless, battery powered wind sensor will automatically retract an awning when it
detects movement from wind or vibrations, keeping the awning safe from damage. The sensor is simply installed
on the front bar of the awning.
To protect awning components and provide a finished look, the Solair Comfort retractable awning is also
available with an optional hood. When not in use, the hood provides complete coverage of the fabric and
motor, which protects from harsh weather elements and sun damage.
Solair Comfort retractable awning frame components are aluminum, and electrostatic powder coated to provide
a corrosion-resistant, high-quality finish. Fabricators also have another option when choosing the frame color. In
addition to White, new frame color, Latte, can also provide a cohesive look, as both Solair Comfort frame colors
compliment the wide range of fabric patterns to stylishly blend with the exterior of consumers' homes or other
buildings.
Fabric cover options for the Solair Comfort retractable awning are available through the Cover Express Program,
which offers Sun Control Professionals pre-fabricated covers made with Sunbrella®, Sunbrella® Mayfield
Collection® and Dickson® fabrics and Tenara? thread. With the Cover Express Program, Sun Control
Professionals can deliver a more customized awning quickly and efficiently, even during peak season. Covers
are shipped within 24 hours after ordering, providing professionals with a fully finished cover that's ready for

feet 5 inches. Warranty coverage includes three-year limited warranty on Solair Comfort framework, 10-year
limited warranty on Sunbrella, Sunbrella Mayfield Collection and Dickson fabrics and a five-year warranty on
