3M Extends Warranted Durability of Digitally-Imaged Sign Face Graphics
to Six Years
3M announced it has extended the Warranted Durability of Finished Graphics used in digitally-imaged sign faces.
Backed by the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty, finished graphics using 3M™ Scotchcal™ Luster Overlaminate 3619 and 3M™
Scotchcal™ Matte Overlaminate 3620 may be warranted for outdoor use for up to six years.
Overlaminates 3619 and 3620 are designed for use on digitally-imaged sign faces and are compatible with 3M
products, including:
- 3M™ Panagraphics™ III Wide-Width Flexible Substrate
- 3M™ Scotchcal™ Translucent Graphic Films
- 3M™ Piezo Inkjet Inks
When used with 3M’s recommended products, overlaminates 3619 and 3620 provide added durability to flexible,
rigid flat and thermoformed sign faces. They assure excellent, long-term graphic appearance by protecting sign
faces from environmental factors including ultraviolet light.
Overlaminates 3619 and 3620 are part of a comprehensive sign portfolio according to Sean Syring, 3M Marketing
Manager. “Because 3M offers flexible substrates, translucent films, inks and graphic protection products, we are
uniquely positioned in the market. 3M provides solutions brand owners want by partnering with sign manufacturers
to deliver unmatched versatility, durability and flexibility.”
