EFI to Showcase Latest Breakthroughs in Superwide and Wide-Format
Printing at ISA International Sign Expo
EFI™ (Nasdaq: EFII), the world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, today announced that it
will be exhibiting an array of new products, including the revolutionary new VUTEk® GS3200 and GS5000r
superwide printers and the flexible new Rastek™ T660 wide-format UV flatbed, in Booth #1943 at the ISA
International Sign Expo, scheduled for April 16-18, 2009 in Las Vegas. Reaffirming its commitment to the ISA,
this year EFI will be hosting the largest booth at the International Sign Expo.

EFI’s Brand-New VUTEk Superwide Printers on Display for the First Time
The VUTEk GS3200 delivers revolutionary photorealistic quality and superwide speed without compromise,
and is set to expand the reach of superwide into new industries and innovative applications. This machine
offers the highest return on investment (ROI) in the industry with its incredible flexibility to print long or short
runs in high quality and high speeds.
The VUTEk GS5000r offers unparalleled quality and speed that redefines productivity and allows EFI’s customers
to tap into the premium-margin markets that demand point-of-purchase (POP)-quality graphics. Its unmatched
quick-turn capability reduces inventory, increases customer satisfaction by eliminating lengthy lead-times, and
accommodates last-minute changes.
EFI’s VUTEk QS Series 2 Inks Significantly Improve Performance and Flexibility
The award-winning VUTEk QS2000 will be printing with new QS Series 2 Inks, EFI’s next generation of
UV-curable inks for the QS Series, which expand and optimize the current range of applications for rigid and
flexible substrates. The durability and quality enhancements of the VUTEK QS Series 2 inks enable output
with improved flexibility and adhesion, generating advancements in applications such as day/night backlits,
window graphics and static clings.
EFI Announces New Rastek UV Printers
The Rastek T660 5’x4’, UV flatbed provides best-in-class image quality and price-performance, and can print
on a wide range of coated and uncoated flexible and rigid media, including glass and aluminum. This printer
stands out from other entry-level wide-format systems because of its white ink capability and crisp four-point text.
Also on display will be the Rastek H700 UV combo flatbed, which delivers high ROI by increasing productivity
and allowing print shops to run more efficiently. This flexible system generates photographic-quality indoor and
outdoor prints up to 1.8 meters wide in four colors plus white, and meets EFI’s stringent quality and reliability
requirements.
Digital Workflow Demonstrations at ISA International Sign Expo
EFI will also be demonstrating end-to-end integrated digital workflows from its Advanced Professional Print
Solutions (APPS) to both Rastek and VUTEk devices. Included in the workflows will be EFI Digital StoreFront®,
its award-winning Web-to-Print solution, Fiery® XF, its large-format RIP solution, and EFI Pace™, the fully
integrated, browser-based print management system for the printing and graphic arts industry.
