Roland Expands Organization with New Hires and Promotions
Irvine, CA, July 30, 2008 - In response to continued growth, Roland DGA Corporation has announced the
addition of new senior level executives across the company’s sales, product management and technical support
organizations.
"We continue to experience strong demand for all Roland products and are expanding our organization
accordingly," said Rick Scrimger, vice president and general manager for Roland. "We are proud to
announce the addition of Andrew Oransky and Robert Ozankan to our product management team, the
expansion of our sales team with Dana Curtis, Troy Lesher, Mike Renna and Yadi Cepeda, and the promotion
of Jesse Garcia to technical support supervisor. Each of these professionals will continue to play a critical
role in Roland’s success, and we look forward to working closely with them to support the needs of our growing
customer base."
Andrew Oransky, Director of Product Management
As director of product management, Andrew Oransky oversees product marketing, technical documentation,
channel training, product support and market research for all Roland products. Oransky’s background includes
more than 10 years of product management and sales experience for major digital printing technology and
supplies companies including Encad/Kodak. He holds a bachelor’s degree in imaging and photography
from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a concentration in marketing.
Robert Ozankan, Senior Product Manager
Robert Ozankan has been named senior product manager for Roland inkjet products, overseeing new market
opportunities, evaluation units, product launches and competitive research for the company’s award-winning
line of inkjet printers and printer/cutters. Ozankan brings to the position more than 20 years in the imaging and
digital printing industries with 12 years of experience in product management roles for major technology
manufacturers including Nikon USA and Epson America.
Dana Curtis, Channel Sales Manager, Eastern Region
Roland has appointed Dana Curtis to eastern regional channel sales manager for engravers and cutters.
Curtis joined Roland in May of 2003 and has since held positions in the company’s service, technical support,
marketing and product management departments. Most recently, he served as application specialist for cutting
solutions where he played an important role in identifying and developing new markets. Curtis holds a bachelor’s
degree in fine arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Troy Lesher, Regional Sales Manager, South Central Region
Troy Lesher has been named regional sales manager for the South Central Region. Lesher brings to the position
more than 20 years of printing industry experience managing sales teams and channel partners for major
manufacturers including Lanier, Danka, Heidelberg and Gandinnovations. For the past seven years, Lesher
has focused on the grand-format market.
Mike Renna, Regional Sales Manager, Southwestern Region
Mike Renna has been appointed regional sales manager for the Southwestern Region, serving Roland’s inkjet
business and channel partners across Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Renna’s
background includes more than 10 years of experience with Roland in customer service, technical support,
supplies and accessories sales, and product management positions. He holds a degree in electrical engineering.
Yadi Cepeda, Sales Representative, Supplies and Accessories
As sales representative for Roland Supplies and Accessories, Yadi Cepeda is responsible for managing the
company’s relationships with supplies and accessories customers and channel partners nationwide. Cepeda
joined Roland in 1998 as a customer service representative and has served in both customer service and sales
support roles. Cepeda holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from California State University,
Fullerton.
Jesse Garcia, Technical Support Supervisor
Jesse Garcia has been promoted to technical support supervisor for Roland’s 3D products, cutters and
engravers. In this role, he oversees the technical support staff and supports the service department with RA
paperwork processing. Garcia has more than 13 years of experience in technical support and technical service
positions with Roland and has additional experience serving as a Latin American sales representative for
Microtek. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
