Going Green, Printing Green and Making Money! With Mutoh’s
ValueJet Hybrid Bio Printer
May 2008 - Franklin, TN - Ken and John Kubalak, Owners of Sign Here of TN, are thrilled with their decision to
purchase Mutoh’s brand new ValueJet 1608 Hybrid printer, using MUBIO Ink, a new BIO ink technology
exclusively found on this printer composed primarily of renewable resources.
"The benefits of being able to print direct to rigid substrates and roll-to-roll have been amazing! I don’t know if I
would have finished all the projects that came in, in the last two weeks without it. I print primarily on poly-metal,
corrugated plastic and banner material, it is easy to flip materials and the color looks fabulous! This printer will
definitely sell itself," Kubalak said.
Sign Here of TN has over 29 years experience in the sign and woodworking industry. Primarily their work
consisted of vinyl products for real estate, and quick turn around projects such as sponsor signs.
"The sheer speed of the ValueJet 1608 printer and the capacity to manipulate files save so much time! The
benefits of faster production are enormous. The ValueJet Hybrid eliminates a whole step, and printing directly
on substrates reduces costs!" said Kubalak.
The Kubalaks used to farm digital print projects out to sign companies specializing in this area, spending about
15K a year. At this point the Kubalaks decided to bring the projects in house and Go Green by purchasing
Mutoh’s ValueJet 1608 Hybrid from SignWarehouse.
"The choice to purchase the ValueJet 1608 Hybrid was easy because Mutoh had the lowest price Hybrid Printer
on the market with the highest quality we could find," said Kubalak.
Combining today's technology with our craftsmanship and artistic ability, Sign Here of TN provides unique, one
of a kind products that are now produced in house with the ValueJet 1608. Sign Here of TN’s clients include
the Tennessee Golf Association, LPGA, YMCA of Middle Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, numerous private
businesses, and many individuals.
After the first month of running the printer at Sign Here of TN the ROI has surpassed the initial expenditure and
they are staying very competitive in the Sign Industry.
Sign Here of Tennessee is located in Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville. Their goal is to exceed the
expectations of their customers while providing a personal service they may not find elsewhere.
