Walls + Forms Inc. of Dallas, TX, just introduced a catalog of modular privacy rooms, merchandising units,
front counters, and floor displays for salons and a multitude of other markets. Modularity provides freedom from
the conventional.
The literature states Walls + Forms manufactures display components and products for a variety of salon and
retail applications with the understanding that the key to developing a successful salon is by utilizing products
and services that save time and money. This is achieved by four simple guidelines the company was founded
on: simplicity, affordability, ease of assembly, and flexibility. Simplicity is achieved since there are no
complicated parts of worry about. For example, wall panels snap together in minutes with no tools, counters
and wall display assembly quickly, and full merchandising can be accomplished in a few hours. Affordability
results from parts standardization, which permits low prices with no minimum quantities. High construction cost
costs, mess, and lengthy time delays are eliminated. Each display has been designed for simple assembly by
non-construction personnel. In today’s retail environment, change is inevitable, so flexibility allows you to
disassemble and reconfigure.
This low-cost, easy-to-install modular system was designed for a multiple number of salon applications. The
components adaptability of "friction lock" connectors and panels is paramount when addressing the diverse
space planning challenges of salons. Walls + Forms privacy rooms provide quality design without the delays
and mess of traditional construction or the high price of pre-engineered panels systems. Design options range
from colors and doors to knobs and trims.
A variety of designer and standard privacy rooms are shown in the catalog. The designer privacy rooms feature
a variety of decorative panel, sliding pocket door, and hinged swing door options. Simplicity enables great
design with the Quadros model, which combines timeless elegance with classic style. With the sleek, linear,
eye-catching design of the Fuscina model, heads will turn and it adds style to any environment. The Solaris
model provides classic beauty with modern attitude. It offers clean lines, elegant feel, and practicality. The
new Curvos model features a curvilinear metallic finish that reflects contemporary contrast to this simple yet
appealing design combination. Standard privacy rooms shown include Traditional, Elegant, Classic, and Organic
models that can be purchased in a variety of standard wall and door colors, with other color options also
available. Various lock options are featured. Example room configurations and salon layouts are pictured.
The catalog also features new front-lit counters available with various color options including backlit acrylic
panels, cash and file drawers, adjustable shelves, and wire access for electrical/telephones. A linear oval-lit
counter, radius front counter, and modular front-lit counter are shown along with a radius counter extension.
They are pre-assembled and/or RTA. New RTA modular counters are also available with various color options
and are ready-to-assemble with no tools needed. They feature cash and drawer files, adjustable shelves, wire
access for electrical/telephone, and an optional stand-off acrylic sign. A RTA modular linear slot-fit counter,
corner-fill unit, and 90 degree slot-fit counter are shown.
Other features shown include wall-merchandising displays. They include modular illuminated wall display unit and
ensemble models, an angled merchandising wall display, plus a cube display, towel station, and an illuminated
locking showcase. Signware and slatwall accessories are also shown. GraphicHolders™ are ideally suited for
hanging wall mounted or suspended signage in windows or on walls. BannerStands are adjustable height floor
standing banner displays. SekureFrames™ and DisplayFrames™ are front-loading frames with adjustable tension
hinges and optional removable backer boards that are offered in a range of standard and custom sizes.
EuroStands™ feature a t-base configuration and are ideally suited for applications including full-color lifestyle posters,
promotional ads, and more. Slatwall accessories shown include peg hooks, knife brackets, waterfall and five
hook accessories, angled display shelves, plus acrylic, glass, and wood shelves.
