Konica Minolta to Market KIP 9000 Series High-Volume, Wide Format
Printing System
Ramsey, N.J. - May 15, 2008 - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading
provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, announces the
availability of the KIP 9000 Series wide format network print system from KIP America, a leading manufacturer
of wide-format printing and imaging technology. Delivering high-quality 600 dpi resolution images in black-and-
white, this toner-based multifunctional (print, copy, and scan) series delivers production class reliability and
productivity at unmatched maximum production speeds of 22 'D'-sized prints per minute - 15 percent faster
than any other wide-format printing system in its class.
Featuring patented KIP High Definition Print Technology, the KIP 9000 series also offers an easy to use touch
screen Image Processing System (IPS) that permits access to and streamlines productivity of the device,
including networking capabilities to connect with additional IT infrastructures, all multifunction capabilities, and
web-based viewing and printing of documents in a wide range of formats. All KIP 9000 systems feature
advanced self-diagnostic systems that help troubleshoot potential print delays by providing administrators with
system status alerts, via Email or text messaging, of resource depletion or other potential technical issues.

The KIP 9000 Series is available now in a variety of configurations, including black-and-white and color scanning
capabilities, and also features hardware and software options that further enhance the system functionality.

The KIP 9000 Series is available now through Konica Minolta's North American authorized dealer and
value-added reseller channels and will soon be available through the Konica Minolta direct sales channel.
