Mutoh’s ValueJet 1618-64" Dual Head Printer Debuted at ISA
Mutoh America Inc., wide-format printer manufacturer, announces the ValueJet 1618 - 64" versatile high
performance dual headed printer using Mutoh’s Eco-Ultra Ink. The printer debuted March 27-29 at ISA in
Orlando, FL.
Finally a roll to roll (optional HD take-up system available) with brilliant results at a price you can afford, reaching
speeds up to an astonishing 334 square feet per hour in production mode. It is perfect for durable graphics
on coated and uncoated substrates up to 63.97" wide with a maximum media weight/rigid of 67 lbs. Mutoh’s
new ValueJet 1618 - 64" printer prints directly onto full- color posters, banners, backlit panels, POS displays,
notices, signs, and stickers.

The new ValueJet 1618 has impeccable print quality with Mutoh’s Drop-On Demand-Piezo Drive Method. The
ValueJet 1618 uses Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweaving Print Technology (i2); ink is laid down carefully in optimized
wave forms, not in straight lines as used in traditional printing practices. This technique allows for increased
print speeds and virtually eliminates banding and ink mottle. In addition, you get increased dot gain control,
allowing more latitude in profile settings. This product brings you rapid return on investment thanks to a hassle
free, versatile performance that saves time and money.
The Eco-Ultra Ink is available in 1000ml ink packs. It is comprised of 2 heads (180 nozzles x 8 lines), 12
printing modes allowing print resolutions of 1440/720/540 dpi. The new ValueJet 1618 printer will be
delivered standard with an ink starter kit KCYM x 2 and comes with a 1 year on-site warranty. The media-drying
system includes individually controlled pre, platen, and post heaters. The ValueJet 1618- 64" printer is available
for shipping in July.
