C-nario Demonstrates Significant Momentum in Technology, Business,
and Corporate Developments
Jerusalem - December 17 - C-nario, an established market leader in state-of-the-art digital signage solutions,
announced today that 2007 has been a year of global impact for the company, marked by the launch of the
company’s Digital Signage Server and ground-breaking installations in the U.S., Europe, and the Far East.
The year opened with a $5 Million investment by Carmel Ventures, followed by a $3.5 million investment by
Opus in November. The investments will fund increased marketing activity and strategic partnerships, leading
to an increase in C-nario’s presence in the industry’s growing markets going into 2008. The recent addition of
industry veteran Sam Losar as General Manager is intended to further C-nario’s growth and expand the
company’s presence in the North and South American markets.
The Digital Signage Server (DSS), launched globally in 2007, is one of the newest additions to C-nario’s
signage solutions portfolio. Using autonomous and efficient decoding technology, the DSS enables playing
up to eight different channels of multilayered multi-source layouts from a standard PC. It allows integration of
HD video with on-line feeds from web sites, data bases, and live TV, even interactivity with mobile phones.
The DSS also offers lower infrastructure and maintenance costs, space-efficiency, and future proof deployments.
C-nario emphasized and expanded its global presence with deployments in strategic regions, including the
deployment of a digital signage network for McDonald's Singapore, ManPower and ClubMed in France and
the O2 Arena in London, UK..
In the U.S., C-nario was hired by JCDecaux, the world’s largest airport advertising company and one of C-nario’s
many top-tier customers, to deploy a one-of-a-kind digital signage network to serve as an advertising platform
for the new Terminal 9 at J.F.K. International Airport. Powered by Messenger, C-nario’s digital signage platform,
a mile-long network of forty 70-inch LCD screens projects engaging and entertaining video and audio content
along the entire length of the moving beltway. Following the J.F.K. installation, JCDecaux and C-nario
collaborated again to launch Prestige Digital Network, the first exclusive digital advertising network for top
advertisers, at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
"The installations throughout 2007 demonstrate market recognition of our technological leadership," said Rami
Bahar, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for
C-nario, "and we expect our impact in key regions to be even greater in 2008. Over the course of the year we
have significantly expanded our market share in all regions and strengthened our resources with the addition
of Mr. Losar to the management team, and these factors will continue and strengthen the strong momentum of
2007 into 2008 and beyond."
