Arlon Launches New Decal Film
Santa Ana, CA. - August 9, 2007 - Arlon introduces 70A series engineering grade film to it’s existing line of
Digital products, expanding it’s very popular leading container film 72A, which has been available for over 20
years.
The new 70A combines the benefits of both cast and calendered vinyl material offering exceptional value at a
lower cost. This 2.8 mil film is highly flexible and conformable, designed to meet the most demanding and rugged
screen printed fleet applications including ocean container, construction, railway, and transport equipment. Its
uniquely identifiable blue-tint adhesive provides outstanding opacity while achieving infallible contact with a
variety of painted and unpainted surfaces. The film is available in standard white, and gloss black.
Proven in vigorous Salt Spray testing, 70A retains its original brightness and adhesive bond over the life of the
decal, and is rated for an outdoor durability of up to 7 years (unprinted).
Arlon manufactures a full line of pressure sensitive vinyl films for digital printing and cut graphics as well as flexible
substrates. Digital products include applications for vehicle wraps, a range of engineering grade and promotional
print films. Cut graphic products include high performance cast, translucent 2 mil cast, calendered graphic vinyl
films, and specialty films. Now quite popular is WF500 MP, a printable, seamless, wide width flexible substrate
that recently joined the premium line of 8 year products, and Eradicolor, a 5-year eradicable substrate.
