The Introduction of the Craft ROBO Pro

and computer-aided design industries, announces the introduction of the new Craft ROBO Pro 15” cutting
plotter. The Craft ROBO Pro is an ideal solution for cutting a wide variety of materials including vinyl, film, card
stock, foil, heat transfer, and image transfer media for the sign, screen graphics, printwear, and craft industries.
Incorporating Graphtec’s legendary ARMS (Advanced Registration Marks System), and combined with a
desktop printer, the Craft ROBO Pro makes contour cutting customer apparel graphics, stickers, decals, 3D
models, and packaging designs an easy task.
The Craft ROBO Pro’s new digital servo motor reaches maximum cutting speeds of 16 ips, and carries a cutting
force of 300 grams. Additional intelligent features such as our innovative first mark auto-sensing, makes the
Craft ROBO Pro’s print and cut operation undeniably unsurpassed in reliability and user-friendliness. A
noteworthy innovation is its easy-to-use menu navigation system that includes 8 user-defined conditions.
These 8 conditions, which can be controlled from software, facilitate instant recall of pre-programmed setups
making for a perfect cut every time. Other innovations include Tangential Control, enabling unsurpassed
cutting quality for highly intricate designs on a variety of materials. The 2MB buffer and Dual-port connectivity
(USB 2.0 Full Speed and Serial) makes this series compatible with virtually any modern computer
configuration, making connectivity a snap. The Craft ROBO Pro comes with a standard 2 year service
warranty.
Be Creative with the Craft ROBO Pro’s Software
The Craft ROBO Pro includes three software applications that will enhance any design operation. Cutting
Master 2™ (a plug-in software), is designed to allow customers to operate their cutter from the two most popular
graphic and illustration software: Adobe® Illustrator® and CorelDraw®. Cutting Master 2 enables users to
output their favorite designs created on their own favorite illustration software directly to the Craft ROBO Pro
without a large investment, or the need to learn a different software application.
To improve workflow and operating efficiency, the Craft ROBO Pro Controller allows direct control of a wide
range of Craft ROBO Pro functions such as cutting speed, cutting pressure, pen movement, Tangential
Emulation, Advanced Registration Marks system, and other functions. It also allows the set up of an infinite
number of conditions that can be assigned their own user-defined labels for easy identification.
Finally, the Craft ROBO Pro includes a simple yet effective design package - Robo Master Pro. With this
simple, easy-to-use software, users can create and edit simple lettering, produce decals, as well as place
clipart from a small library that is included with the Robo Master Pro software. It has the capability to import
bitmaps as well as vectorize them for creating contour lines when making decals.
