Gandinnovations Expands Approved Vendor Program
Gandinnovations, a world leader in grand format digital printer has expanded its Approved Vendor Program
(AVP) and added Aurora Textiles to its impressive list of media partners with the qualification of 4 fabrics.
Gandinnovations recently approved the Aurora VC Cotton Canvas, Natural VC Poly Oxford and Upholstery
for the Aquajet and the AC Canvas for the Jeti UV Roll-to-Roll line. These materials can be used for tradeshow
graphics, outdoor displays, home furnishings, art reproductions, retail POP, and industrial applications.
"Our media partners must submit materials for testing on any of our full line of Jeti Printers. Testing is based on
multiple qualifications, such as color fastness, durability, adhesion and flexibility of the inks on the substrate
tested," says Tom Reilly, Vice President of Marketing for Gandinnovations. "We then give it a one-to-five star
rating, with five stars being the best possible output for the high standard we have set."
Aurora Specialty Textiles Group, Inc. is one of the world leaders in the coating, dyeing, and finishing of both
woven and non-woven fabrics. For more than 100 years, Aurora has been an innovative worldwide provider
of textile solutions for a wide range of end uses and markets.
"We are excited to be working with such a forward thinking company as Gandinnovations and are already
looking ahead to having additional fabrics certified by them," says Mike Richardson, Director of Marketing,
Print Media for Aurora Specialty Textiles Group Inc.
Once approved as a media partner, Gandinnovations adds the vendor’s material specs to its “approved media”
link on its newly renovated website, helping its customers to reference materials that Gandinnovations™ has
previously qualified. Also, with the qualification of the 4 products, Aurora Textiles and Gandinnovations will
continue to work together to build on a successful partnership that will include partnering at upcoming
tradeshows and Gandinnovations state-of-the-art demo facility in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Gandinnovations Brings Intelligent Robotics to the Digital Industry
Production Line to Boost Output
Gandinnovations™, a world leader in grand format digital printer innovations brings robotic technology to the
grand format digital print world with the creation of its high-speed automatic loading robot, affectionately called
H.A.L. which stands for ‘High-speed Auto Loader’. H.A.L. was designed to work in synchronization with all Jeti
True flatbed digital printers to achieve maximum production efficiency.
"Robotics is a branch of engineering which involves the conception, design, manufacturing, and operation of
robots, what we’ve done is overlap this technology with electronic engineering and artificial intelligence to
produce the ultimate in productivity," says James Gandy, CEO at the company's Canadian-based manufacturing
facility. "H.A.L. allows customers to perform multiple roles with more speed, precision and agility than ever before.
They can now operate two machines at once, completing jobs faster and with more accuracy unsupervised."
Technology that continues to revolutionize the digital print industry
Designed to run 24/7, around the clock, H.A.L. will boost the production speed of any Jeti True Flatbed. It can
handle materials simultaneously on two Jeti Flatbed printers’ situated back to back using new configurable
technology and software that surpasses conventional automation or manual solutions. "H.A.L. will give our
customers the perfect solution for running total maximum production on up to two Jeti flatbed printers with minimal
effort," says Hary Gandy, Gandinnovations' President based out of corporate offices in San Antonio, Texas.
H.A.L.'s ‘magic eye’ – an intelligent camera station – evaluates the condition of material for damages and
pre-determines the position to ensure perfect loading every time. H.A.L. also scrutinizes the job for
contamination between the transfer head vacuum cups and material between pre-selected cycles.
H.A.L. is capable of handling thin, flexible or rigid, non-porous materials up to 10mm thick, of 4ft x 8ft (1.2mtr x
2.4mtr) and 5ft x 10ft (1.5mtr x 3mtr) sheet sizes with stack heights up to 0.50 inches (127cm) and operates
with a fully enclosed safety cell with safety interlocks. The standard print-to-print cycle is less than 60 seconds
when used in conjunction with high-speed print heads, reducing the number of print passes. H.A.L. further
eliminates the possibility of costly head strikes by detecting sheet corner damage up to .040 inches (1 cm), and
sheets with reasonably straight edges are repeatedly and accurately placed on the print bed within .040 inches
(1 cm).
The software comes with an option to monitor print jetting after pre-selected cycles are complete. H.A.L. also
visually inspects the test pattern on the border to ensure minimal risk of producing scrap should print anomalies
occur, as well as contamination between transfer head vacuum cups and sheets following completion of
pre-selected cycles by visually inspecting the pick area.
Customers are able to extend production beyond normal work shift by running out sheet supply skid. Once the
job is complete H.A.L. unloads the print bed and places the finished job in an allocated area.

The company enlisted ErgoSoft, a business renowned for bringing groundbreaking color management
solutions to the market, to create GandiSoft, a software program uniquely designed to meet the specific
requirements of all Jeti Printers and the production of large format graphics.
ErgoSoft has combined the best features of its two top selling software products into one superior program
available only through Gandinnovations.
“For those print shops that demand the highest quality output fast and efficiently, no other software can
compare,” says James Gandy, president in charge of manufacturing operations in Canada. “GandiSoft was
formulated specifically for Jeti Printers by ErgoSoft, and they’re the best in the business. What most printers
want is maximum throughput, prominent and distinct images, the most accurate color possible, and an
efficient and accurate job application system. GandiSoft was developed with the concerns of the print
shop owner in mind.”
“We’ve worked together for years, but solidified our relationship at DRUPA,” adds Andy Brunner, senior
product manager of ErgoSoft AG and project leader for GandiSoft. “The Gandy’s respond quickly to market
changes and wanted software that was cost effective and easy to use – one application, one trained
technician.”
“We included optional features found in our most popular products and made them standard components
of GandiSoft. For example, the Hot Folder which automates workflow production; the I-Cut/contour cut
module; our award winning ColorGPS ICC Profiler; and multiple printer RIP queue are all included in the
package,” states Peter Supry, director of technical services for ErgoSoft U.S.
Sharply designed workflow
GandiSoft’s offers a powerful combination of technology. It is designed to work in concert with the Job
Client, RIP server and Print Queue to make job setup and output easier than ever. You can accomplish
all these tasks from one single window.
At the heart of GandiSoft is a sophisticated color rendering engine; an open color management system with
custom linearization and ink limiting capability, support for various spectrophotometers, and an integrated ICC
profiler, color GPS, all of which combine to provide unprecedented control over color accuracy and image
fidelity.
Standard options of GandiSoft include: sophisticated controls for shrinkage allowance and stretch
compensation; global color replacement; color books that provide for a series of industry standard and
custom spot colors; hot folder to automate the ripping and printing process; automated seam extension
for creating banner pockets; and an advanced contour cutting option that supports a die-cut workflow.
GandiSoft offers a tremendous span of output capabilities including the ability to increase the library of colors,
so the operator can see what it will look like on substrate prior to printing.
The high-end large format digital printer market is a fast paced “niche” industry that requires flexibility and
constant improvements in not only hardware, but also software development to remain at the top. At the
end of the day, print shop owners want to know: How quickly can you setup a job? How long does it take
to achieve the color quality you’re looking for? How fast can the files be ripped? How much time is really
spent on each job? GandiSoft is designed for maximum throughput to have a positive effect on the print
shop’s bottom-line.
“Whether you are trying to win industry awards or win a new customer's business, it's hard to ignore superior
quality. We anticipate that GandiSoft will set the new standard for color accuracy and image fidelity, and will
quickly become the preferred RIP for all Jeti Printers,” adds Gandy. “The biggest difference users of
GandiSoft will realize is image quality and ease of use. The learning curve is short and the user interface is
extremely intuitive. It’s a natural experience, very similar to most desktop publishing applications.”

McRae Imaging Banks on Jeti Aquajet to Build its U.S-based Business
It took less than five minutes for Bob Murray, president and owner of McRae Imaging, to be sold on the Jeti
Aquajet 3324, Gandinnovations’ first non-heat press printer.
"For the past three years I’ve been traveling the world looking at Grand Format products by Dupont, Vutek,
Scitex, you name it; but none of them could meet my two basic requirements: 1) high photographic quality,
and 2). Eco-friendly production," says Murray.
“I’ve heard about Gandinnovations for several years; they have a tremendously good reputation within the
industry. As I watched their company grow, I was consistently impressed with their product range, and heard
only positive stories from those who used their products. So, I waited until the company produced a printer that
captured my interest. And, it finally arrived.
Nothing compares to the Jeti Aquajet 3324, nothing comes close. The output produces an unrivaled color
gamut, resolution, quality, plus it operates using water based ink,” Murray adds.
A Colorful Past and a Bright Future
Murray is at the helm of the world’s leading graphics and custom structures company, based in Mississauga,
Ontario. Its 20,000 square foot facility houses the latest in digital dye-sub printing equipment, an in-house finishing
department and a state of the art metal fabrication shop.
Murray purchased McRae Custom Color eleven years ago; the company then had a reputation as the best
shop in technical expertise for the production and reproduction of photo prints. But technology was impacting
the photo industry and Murray transitioned into digital imaging, dye sublimation and fabric technology. His
photographic background kept him on a quest to find water-based ink printing with photo realistic output.
“Digital printing has come a long way, and is moving toward photographic quality, it has changed the tradeshow
exhibit landscape. Fabric structures are now expected splashes of color on the show floor, and they’re known
for allowing designer imagination to stretch much further than spandex ever could.
Along with the technology that has made this possible, graphics companies are forced to evolve. We still
focus on printing solutions, but now offer aluminum structure, lights and fabrics, and constantly look toward the
future. This new machine from Gandinnovations will allow us to become more competitive, expanding McRae’s
event market, trade show and retail business.
We love a challenge. We continue to define industry standards in image clarity and consistency,” says Murray.
"The Jeti? Aquajet 3324 is a perfect marriage of conventional textile printing needs and innovative digital
convenience," states Eddie Carmara, Sales Manage for Gandinnovations?.
Sturdy Jeti? printer construction ensures maximum performance and reliability in a 24-7 production environment.
With the Jeti? Aquajet 3324 a textile print shop can meet its full potential of heavy production demands at a lower
cost while producing high quality images at greater speeds.
Typically the dye-sub process involves curing the fabric, followed by a print, transfer, and heat press run. The
Jeti? Aquajet 3324 saves time and resources through technology that cures the fabric on the machine, and
prints direct to fabric. It eliminates the transfer process, saving print shops time and money. All materials are
recyclable.
Environmental Responsibility
“At McRae, we don’t believe that we inherited the Earth from our parents; we believe that we are borrowing it
from our children. Environmental stewardship plays a roll in every aspect of our manufacturing process. We
recycle almost everything – transfer paper, fabric, plastic, aluminum and wooden pallets. We are also
committed to using environmentally friendly processes and supplies such as water-based inks
The Jeti? Aquajet is so eco-friendly, you smell the fresh air while you work. It’s a production workhorse,”
exclaims Murray. For more information on McRae Imaging visit the website at www.mcrae-imaging.com.
“The Aquajet 3324 opens up a new niche in an already exclusive market, creating sharper, more
effervescent colors and images than the industry has ever seen before,” adds Carmara.
The Jeti? Aquajet 3324 is unquestionably the fastest 3.3m (10’10”) meter grand-format digital printer designed
explicitly for the fabric and textile printing industry.
It can achieve speeds of 650 sqm/hr on a 4 pass mode, depending upon quality control for extra large
billboard size images.
We’ve added an advanced feature of 24 spectra heads to meet the high resolution needs of the printing
industry and maintained high-speed performance,” says Carmara.
“We will continue to place emphasis on perfecting technology. If it has our name on it, be assured that it is the
most advanced high-speed, high-resolution printer engineered at the lowest possible cost. Really, you have to
see it print to believe it. The combination of quality and speed is amazing!” concludes Carmara.

Gandinnovations’ debuts its Jeti 3148 UV Flatbed Printer Featuring 48
Spectra High Performance Print Heads
San Antonio, TX (August 24, 2007) - Gandinnovations will demonstrate three of the company’s most powerful,
top-selling Jeti Printers and accessories on the market today at the Graph Expo, September 9 - 12, McCormick
Place South, Chicago, booth # 4474.
"Gandinnovations’ is selling one UV Jeti Printer every week, which is as fast as they can currently manufacture
them. The growing line consistently earns the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry. The Jeti
1224, 3148, and 2048 UV Flatbeds have all fared well in industry reviews earning high scores for the printers,
tech support and the Gandy company overall.
The Jeti 3148 UV Flatbed Printer featuring 48 Spectra High Performance print heads and a 5’ x 10’ (1.52 x
3.04 meter) printing area makes its debut at Graph Expo. The 48 heads allows for ink designation of 8 heads
per color allowing 6 color combinations and can achieve printing speeds of 45 sqm/hr (500 sqft/hr) in production
mode. The flatbed table, using linear motion to control movement, ensures perfect registration every time on rigid
and flexible materials. Gandinnovations chose the 48 head design to give shops even more production options
through a commitment to speed.
The Jeti 3148 UV Flatbed Printer table has a 3 zone vacuum controlled system which eliminates any masking
or area covering when printing. The pin registration system allow for fast and accurate substrate loading and
unloading; this can preformed by one person due to the print area being very accessible on the flatbed table.
A strong vacuum table holds virtually any rigid material in place up to 5 cm (2") in thickness. The 1200 dpi
Jeti 3148 is available immediately worldwide.
Gandinnovations’ latest Graphic User Interface (GUI) allows the operator to quickly and easily, drag and drop,
manipulate and manage all artwork files. It’s clean and clear interface makes working a breeze.
"The Jeti 1224 UV True Flatbed, also on display, is a compact and economical flatbed specifically designed to
give print shops the flexibility they need," says Hary Gandy, president of Worldwide Sales for Gandinnovations.
The Jeti 1224 uses 24 Spectra print heads to produce high speed graphics in 6 colors, up to 1200 dpi, it achieves
25 sqm/hr (250 sqft/hr) in best quality mode.
A true flatbed table using linear motion to control movement ensures perfect registration on rigid and flexible
materials. The 4ft x 8ft print area allows easy loading and unloading of large and heavy material which can be
performed by one person.
The Jeti® Printer 3324 Solvent RTR featuring 24 Spectra heads can produce at speeds between 75 and 93
square meters an hour (700 and 1,000 square feet an hour), depending on the quality needed for extra large
images such as building wraps.
A software upgrade on the Jeti® 3324 Solvent RTR can detect if any individual nozzle may be misfiring. It
automatically compensates the saturation, safe-guarding the image output. This safe-proof technology is the
first of its kind in the Grand Format arena.
A modular back-lit camera option gives printers the ability to print on both sides of material such as reinforced
vinyl, pressure sensitive vinyl, canvas, fabrics, mesh and paper.
White and Clear Varnish are now standard options on all Jeti Flatbed Printers. Now print shops around the
world can print with the 6 color option and switch to white or clear varnish without losing quality and time.
The Flexform UV Inks also will also be showcased. Gandinnovations formulated Flexform UV Inks for producing
vacuum-formable images. In the past, stretching substrates caused the inks "pull apart, but now due to new
technology and the consistency of Flexform UV Inks, printed images can withstand not only stretching, but the
high heat necessary to produce high-quality end results.
Human Eyes Technology will also be in the Gandinnovations booth at Graph Expo to showcase their latest
software for 3-D lenticular printing. Gandinnovations has been recognized throughout the recent tradeshows
for their live 3-D printing on lenticular material.
Many Jeti Printers produce at speeds far outmatching anything else on the market, making it possible for high
quantity production with multiple image changes, giving printers the ability to turn around normally higher-cost
projects at traditional screen printing and conventional printing press prices.
Gandinnovations will be showcasing its hottest selling printers and accessories on the market today, visit them in
Chicago, IL, September 9 - 12, at the Graph Expo, booth #4474.

they want," says Hary Gandy, CEO of World-wide sales for Gandinnovations.
"The Jeti 5024 UVRTR is designed for speed, and we feel that we have achieved our goal."

The Jeti® 5024 UVRTR, as with all Jeti models, will be available in 300 dpi, 600 dpi, and now true 1200 dpi format
options, while maintaining true production of a grand-format printer. "The true 600 dpi option has been wildly
popular with our customers," says Gandy. "I am glad we are able to offer a 600 dpi option and now a true 1200
dpi option on all Jeti UV models. This really seems to be direction the grand-format industry is heading, I am glad
we could lead the way."
The new newest addition to the Gandinnovations product line will continue to treat operators with the easy-to-use
computer interface. All images ripped to the printer appear as thumbnails. Operators can then drag and drop the

5024 UVRTR is planning to make its debut at one of the many upcoming tradeshows in which Gandinnovations
will be exhibiting.
The highly specialized Jeti printers are manufactured at Gandinnovations 115,000 square-foot plant in Toronto,
Canada. The worldwide sales and service operation is based out of San Antonio, Texas with satellite offices in

Source One Digital Installs Third Jeti with Backlit Camera
San Antonio, TX (July, 2006) Gandinnovations is pleased to announce the installation of the Jeti 3318 solvent
printer with back-lit camera option. Muskegon, MI based Source One Digital purchased their third Gandinnovations
Jeti due to the shops demand of more output for their clients.
The July installation was completed in one day and will give Source One Digital even more versatility along with
their Jeti 3150 UV Flatbed and Jeti 3312.
"We were really satisfied with our other Gandinnovations grand-format printers and didn’t hesitate on purchasing
out third one," says owner Randy Crow. Source One Digital is listed among the top 20 sign shops in the USA in
most major publications and feels the Jeti 3318 with backlit camera option will help their business grow.
"We decided to make the move to purchase the Jeti 3318 since we have grown so much over the past year,
we just couldn’t keep up with the demand of our clients," says Crow.
Source One Digital specializes in banners, vehicle wraps and tradeshow graphics. But with the Jeti 3318,
Source One Digital will expand their portfolio into backlit illuminated signage and all grand-format applications.
"Not only will we be able to increase our productivity, but we will be able to create some great double-sided
output through the use of the back-lit camera," says Crow. "We have the only machine that is 100 percent
digitally controlled through the software."
The back-lit camera is a factory option with the purchase of a new Jeti 3312, 3318 and 5000 grand-format
printers.
The back-lit camera is ground-breaking double-sided printing technology that uses an electronically enhanced
camera and video capture board to obtain a perfect match front and back.
The software automatically registers print targets, so that when the substrate material is reversed, the camera
(attached to the print heads) tracks the image from the reversed side by calibrating with image targets. This
ensures the perfect alignment and compatible color profiles that are not available anywhere else in the market.

Gandinnovations Offers More
San Antonio, TX (August, 2006) - Gandinnovations has recently completed its higher resolution research and
development on the Jeti 3150 UV Flatbed and Jeti 3324 UV Roll To Roll model printers. Recently, Gandinnovations

"We knew that we had a breakthrough with the true 600 dpi resolution, but now I know print shops around the

The Jeti? 3150 Flatbed and Jeti 3324 UV series of printers will appeal to customers due to faster speeds and
lower ink cost than the traditional high-resolution machines.
Gandinnovations began using 80 Pico liter (300 dpi) Spectra print heads offering true 300 dpi quality, and since

customers a taste of the highest quality offered on the market today, 1200 dpi. Customers will have their choice

Jeti Liquid Laminate adds Life, Vibrancy to Signs
San Antonio, TX (July 2006) - Gandinnovations, the company that revolutionized the grand-format printing -industry
with the launch of the Jeti printer line in 2002, is about to shake-up the world of printing yet again with an invisible product.
The company recently started manufacturing the Jeti Liquid Laminate, a clear coating of protection made especially
for grand-format signs such as POP displays, car wraps and oversized banners.
"The No. 1 advantage with the Jeti Liquid Laminate is that it imparts gloss and shine and good scratch protection
to the image," said Clem Sison, General Manager of the Gandinnovations Ink Division in Long Island, N.Y. "In
addition, we have a version of the clear coat and laminate formulated with UV and fade resistance inhibitors.
That means an image that normally would last a couple of years outdoors might last seven-to-10 years,
depending on the thickness of the clear coat."
Resistance to scratches, chemicals, fade and pollution are among the high levels of protection that the Jeti Liquid
Laminate provides. It’s also very easy to use, and can be applied with a simple sponge brush, can be sprayed
on or applied using a liquid laminator. The clear coat dries to the touch in minutes, and is totally cured after just
24 hours.
Gandinnovations created the product to be environmentally friendly. The Jeti Liquid Laminate is a water-based,
water soluble non-hazardous air pollutant (non-HAP) product that does not have any volatile organic compounds
(VOCs).
For all the clear coat offers, it is very cost effective compared to similar products in the industry. A gallon covers
anywhere form 600 square-feet to 1,100 square-feet of sign space, depending on the material and thickness
of the coat.
Sison says the clear coat is proving popular because it adds life and vibrancy to signs. Printers say their customers
want the often-pricey grand-format signs to last, so having the option of adding years to the product with the
use of the Gandinnovations clear coat is attractive to sign shops.
"We even have a version of the clear coat that could be used as a primer for images on glass and ceramic tiles,
which is a very difficult application for printers, that scratch resistance, chlorine resistance and face resistance,"
Sison said. "We are working with an architectural firm that has a customer in Asia who’s requested a special
design for the bottom of a salt water aquarium. Our liquid laminate is resistant to salt water and ultraviolet light.
This new coating can now create vivid and protected images on tiles, done digitally and protected with clear
coat as a primer."
"Another version of the clear coat works well with images printed on leather products such as purses, boots,
jackets and hats," Sison said. "It protects the leather and the image doesn’t fade or wash out. At the same time,
the coating doesn’t make the leather rigid; it remains flexible. One advantage is that we have ability to customize
our coating depending upon the customer’s requirements."
Electric signs, which usually are subject to harsh outdoor elements, also benefit greatly from use of the Jeti Liquid
Laminate. "That’s going to be a big application for this product."
Sison says he’s been fielding orders from all over the globe for the Jeti Liquid Laminate. Although the product was
engineered to work best with grand-format signs created using the Jeti Printer, the clear coat works just as well
with signs created on other printers.
The first Jeti Printer, a 3.3-meter version, rolled off the Gandinnovations line in 2002. Since then, Gandinnovations
has unveiled other versions, including UV flatbed and roll-to-roll printers. The growing line consistently earns the
highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry.
Many Jeti Printers produce at speeds far outmatching anything else on the market, making it possible for high
quantity production with multiple image changes, giving printers the ability to turn around normally higher-cost
projects at traditional screen printing and conventional printing press prices.
The highly specialized Jeti Printers are manufactured at Gandinnovations 120,000 square-foot plant in Toronto,
Canada. The worldwide sales and service operation also is based out of Canada with satellite offices in San
Antonio, Texas, Mexico, India, United Arab Emirates and Belgium. In an industry where fewer than five companies
on the planet produce similar printers, that is a stunning business accomplishment, placing Gandinnovations at
the top of a specialized field of printer manufacturers.
Gandinnovations has a range of grand-format printers designed to meet the needs of the industry, including true
600 dpi, UV flatbed and roll-to-roll printers, three and five-meter solvent printers, solvent printers using 12 or 18
Spectra print heads and offering many technological advantages, including an automated head wiping system,
and high definition back-lit camera.

Jeti Scores BIG With Vibrant Banners For Dallas’ NBA, NHL Teams
San Antonio, TX (May 2006) - Before the Dallas Mavericks tipped off or the first punch was thrown in the Dallas
Stars playoff runs, fans got their first taste of playoff fever outside the American Airlines Center.
Hanging at the front of the home of Dallas’ NBA and NHL teams were three large, full-color banners proudly
announcing "It’s Playoff Time." The signature green of the Stars and blue of the Mavericks, team logos and
pictures of the Stanley Cup trophy and NBA championship trophy adorned the most dramatic of the three, a
118-foot wide banner draping the entrance to the American Airlines Center. The other two bore sharp, larger-
than-life images of superstar players standing at an eye-popping 65 feet tall.
"Inkjet International completed the banners in just three days specifically for the playoff runs of both Dallas pro
sports franchises using the Jeti? 5000 grand-format printer manufactured and sold by Gandinnovations."
"The customer was thrilled, describing the job as amazing, beautiful work," said Alok Sarna, Vice President of
Sales and Operations for Inkjet International, a leading manufacturer of digital print solutions for indoor and
outdoor display, including billboards, window graphics and backlit signage.
"There’s a lot of detail in the graphics. When it comes to that, the Jeti really shines in terms of the images. It
adds real vibrancy to the images."
"Inkjet International officials are so pleased with the performance they are purchasing two additional Jeti
printers from Gandinnovations." This time Inkjet International will be getting two of the wildly popular Jeti 3318
scheduled to be installed this summer.
"The customers are really seeing the difference, and that’s what’s important for us right now," Sarna said.
"Otherwise, a banner is a banner is a banner. What we’re trying to do is showcase the different resolutions, the
different level of vibrancy you get with the colors on the Jeti Printer. We have to sell the difference and superior
quality."
Buzz in the grand-format industry about Jeti® Printers has been building ever since Gandinnovations unveiled
the first 3.3-meter version in November 2002. The growing line consistently earns the highest customer
satisfaction ratings in the industry.
The Jeti 5000 creates rich, vibrant 6-color images at up to 600 dpi quality on a variety of materials including
reinforced vinyl, pressure sensitive vinyl, mesh, paper, fabrics and canvas. The 18 Spectra print heads make
the Jeti 5000 the fastest 5-meter printer on the market today.
Sarna said the Jeti printers are a good fit for Inkjet International’s business philosophy. "Not everyone wants a
bare bones product. They want extra value," he said. "We know we can compete for customers who want low
-priced, acceptable resolution images, but when you have clients such as Frito Lay, who want high quality
associated with their name, you have to be able to produce sharp, crisp and impressive displays. The Jeti printers
allow us to do that in a way that distinguishes our work in the market."
The highly specialized Jeti® printers are manufactured at Gandinnovations' 120,000 square-foot plant in Toronto,
Canada. The worldwide sales and service operation is based out of San Antonio, Texas, with satellite offices in
Canada, Mexico, India, United Arab Emirates and Belgium.

White Ink White Hot in Germany
San Antonio, TX (October 11, 2005) Gandinnovations has completed its research and development of their
new white ink and clear varnish applied with the Jeti 3150 UV Flatbed at Viscom in Düsseldorf, Germany.
"We feel that Viscom was the right place to give our overseas customers a first look of our new white ink
and clear varnish," says Hary Gandy, Gandinnovation’s CEO of worldwide sales. White ink is applied under or
on top of the image during the printing process and is used to give the Jeti 3150 another dimension.
"White ink has been one of the big talks of 2005, and Gandinnovations feels that they can offer their customers
the quality they seek to provide their end users with a superior product. Clear varnish, used to make the colors
more brilliant, is applied to the image after is printing is completed. It can be applied onto the entire image or just
certain area, highlighting what the advertiser want their customers to see," says Gandy. "We really think our Jeti
users will be able to find a use for the clear varnish with every project they complete."
The clear varnish not only highlights an image, but offers protection from the elements offering Jeti users a
cheaper alternative to lamination. Along with the Jeti 3150 UV Flatbed, Gandinnovations showcased Jeti 5000,
five meter solvent printer, and the Jeti 3318 with modular backlit camera unit used printing backlit with perfect
